Would avoid this product like the plague. There's a whole reddit about it. Ours failed the same as above. At the end of the warranty, dyson shops can't work on them, the battery is not replacable, they sodered it to the electronics board. Turns into a paper weight, all dyson will do is give you 20% off another on at full price. Babyliss would be a better option.

CS manager states that they've had incidents like this in the past, and their tech team always says it's impossible that the listing can be changed after the fact…
Regardless, those affected, we know what we saw prior to purchase. A too good to be true misrepresented final sale item, from a company that edges closer to disappearing from the retail space every day.
