I have tried these but the print is too light and sometime barely readable. In some cases, I could set the density to make it passable but it seems the claim of high-yield is due to this issue. Have others noticed the same problem or is it just me?
I've bought a lot of these EZ Ink TN660 cartridges over a span of years. I've had a few duds that EZ Ink replaced under warranty, but most of them have been good. This is a superb price at $4.50 per cartridge.

It's been almost 3 years since a deal was posted on SD for TN660 cartridges, so I'm in for a 4 pack.

Last time I bought this it destroyed my printer but it was still probably worth it because I saved money on the ink so if you can afford to replace your printer then by all means purchase this
How did it destroy your printer?

Not the OP but I had a similar experience w this brand. Leaked all over the printer causing streaks. Was a big mess to cleanup. If you read the reviews most people are happy but once in a while the cheaper cartridges like this will ruin your day. I decided buy a different non brother brand only for that reason they seem to be more consistent (and pricier).

I had that problem. Thought it was my drum that was going bad. I tried the density/darker adjustments and everything else but nothing worked. Didn't want to waste money on all that. So bought a cheap newer Brother. I still have the printer sitting in storage.

Currently using one of these from a two pack and at first there was a slight noise but we pushed thru and now no unusual noise and print quality is indistinguishable from the OEM.

Just stocked up on this 4 pack. Fingers crossed.

I know there's a risk to the printer but my rational (to myself) is the printer costs ~$220, and each OEM cartridge costs like $80, so if even just three of my current six $5 cartridges work as well as an OEM cartridge, they've covered the cost of replacing the printer in worst case scenario.

Basically it's Brother's (and every other printer manufacturer's) fault for making OEM cartridges so expensive.

Looks like Amazon E-Z Ink Store has other toner on sale also. Here is one that is 50% off after clipping the coupon. https://a.co/d/2lfgVDj this is for TN-227 toner.

These printers make their way to the landfill or thrift shops. We picked up a 2380dw for $5 the other day at thrift shop and about a month prior inherited one that a local church got rid of (it needed a new drum unit, which I got for $20 on Amazon). This, combined with these deals, make these very affordable.

Unfortunately, I don't see the coupon to clip any longer despite being signed in.

How long do these last when not opened? My Dell printer can use these cartridges but it will take me several years to use 4 of them

True there's a risk with storing too many especially if your use case is minimal. But the price per cartridge normally makes it an acceptable risk.

But if you really have little use for four then just buy a single or two-pack. They probably go on sale too at some point. Like $15 per cartridge is not bad either. And at that use case you should be evaluating price per months of use rather than price per cartridge.
