As many other have stated, I found this TV locally and picked one up for $299 in Titusville, FL
I was told that this is the end of their season for TVs and they get all new models next week.
My store was down to these 70" Samsungs and the Samsung Frame in 55" and 65" for significantly more.
The electronics clerk told me that he expects the TVs to be discounted again this weekend.
Samsung UN70CU7000 70-Inch Class Crystal UHD CU7000 Series PurColo, HDR, Gaming Hub, Smart TV with Alexa Built-in (UN70CU7000FXZA, 2023 Model) Includes Free 2 Year Warranty
I'm just going to say this for everyone asking so many questions.. go to the freaking target near you. See what's physically in stock. Prices will not be advertised as the clearance price. Ask associate to scan. All targets have different clearance prices and timing. There you go.
I'm guessing it's target ymmv deal

The Target app showed this model in stock at 3 stores in my area. NONE of them actually had it in stock - I wasted two hours on this wild goose chase 😠
Couldn't get it from 3 target stores near my place because it was out of stock, but I scored even better deal for better model CU8000 65 inch for $188.99.
And whoever goes to target and trying to scan through your target app, just ask an associate to scan, I believe clearance price shows only if they scan it!!
Why is this so cheap? Brand is great, definition is great, size is huge... What is it missing?
I asked the Target employee if they were making room. He said yes. Inventory sits and only moves when there is either a huge clearance or markdowns for Black Friday. A bunch of new models are coming out and they had to reduce to make room.
This rang up 179 in store but they couldn't find the one left in stock and said their app they scan with isn't accurate for inventory. Anyone confirm this that works at Target?

Employee snagged that one when they found out the price

We put it in the bathroom in the servant's quarters. Had to take down the urinal though, just to make room for it.
