I use it for office work so the single usb-c for video/power and the hub with ethernet were a big draw. I like that I can have one usb-c connection to my Macbook for everything. A few things:
I can confirm the ethernet connector is gigabit. I couldn't verify that anywhere before purchase so, in case you were wondering, it's indeed gigabit.
I don't know why, but the ethernet connector will randomly disconnect under heavy usage until I power cycle the monitor. Might be faulty hardware, my mac, or my network. I searched the web and couldn't find anyone else with the issue so I've chalked it up to bad luck. I purchased an inexpensive usb gigabit ethernet adapter that I plugged into the back of the monitor and it works great.
For mac users: if you want to be able to control the brightness and volume of this monitor using your keyboard you can do so with an app called "MonitorControl" (https://github.com/MonitorControl/MonitorControl). Much more convenient then fiddling with the joystick on the back of the monitor.
Overall, despite the ethernet issue I have no regrets with this purchase and love this monitor.
Did some research and found out why this is happening. Both of us were partially correct.
The reason I'm getting full USB 3.0 speeds is because I'm outputting video HDMI-HDMI and everything else through USB-C.
If you are outputting video through USB-C (e.g. single cable connection from monitor to laptop), the bandwidth is cut in half and all ports on the built-in hub are limited to 2.0 speeds because there is simply not enough bandwidth to support full resolution at max refresh plus gigabit Ethernet plus USB 3.0 ports. Apparently this is the case with most USB-C monitors with USB ports.
The only way to get all of the above through a single cable connection is if you have a relatively new PC that supports DP 1.4 (8K/60) and enable 1.4 on the monitor (which is on by default). Mac currently does not have this option. Learned something new today.
Tl;dr: You won't get full USB 3.0 speeds through a single cable connection unless your device supports DP 1.4.
Tested this on both my PC and M1 Pro MBP

This is only true if your machine doesn't support DP 1.4.
I have Dell Latitude 7640 with "2 USB Type-C Thunderbolt™ 4.0 with Power Delivery & DisplayPort 1.4". According to LG user manual[lge.com],
The monitor and PC must be connected with a USB-C cable to use wired LAN.
When the USB C-C cable is connected between upstream port of monitor and Host PC, the Downstream port of monitor support USB 2.0 device.
When the USB C-A cable is connected between upstream port of monitor and Host PC, the Downstream port of monitor support USB 3.0 device.
This is inline with actual test result from multiple people. I think it has something to do with the total bandwidth of the USB-C uplink and LG's implementation of DP Alt Mode. Even some of the monitors with true Thunderbolt hub still need a setting to prioritize data to get full GB network.
I'm no expert on the subject, if you figure out a way with single USB-C setup and full GB network, please let us know. I wouldn't mind jump back in if that turns out true.
Doesn't seem like they are taking coupons for this any longer. I had three coupons applied yesterday and today it's saying no eligible item in cart. Anyone able to still apply coupons to the monitor?
Depends on your office but I work for a large corporation and all they offer are 21 inch old as hell Samsung LCDs that are 1080p 30hz. Since I spend so much of my life there looking at those things, its worth it to me to buy my own.

I was able to contact customer service to apply the azm return coupon discount. Also, make sure to activate your easy rewards coupon promotion which expires today!
I bought this monitor when it appeared on sale several weeks ago. The clean desk setup with the one cable for data and display was a selling point. I'm not performing any data on transfers but I see from other researched comments that data speeds can be compromised based on several factors.
I personally made the mistake of thinking this was a model with the webcam included as part of the monitor.
TL;DR: I've been using it for work, entertainment, and personal content creation and I love it. I highly recommend this monitor.

Well the manual has an indicator light for webcam section so I was wondering if it was included despite not being mentioned as a feature

Is your laptop screen open and displaying at the same time? It may be mirroring your laptop screen resolution/dimensions.
If so, try closing your laptop after you connect and see if it adjusts.
Hope this helps
