Who in this day and age doesn't want something you can put in the dishwasher? Buy stainless with the exception of a couple of non-stick for special uses. This way you minimize your labor.
I sorted by verified purchase and most recent, and I think the reviews are horrible.
Folks here seem to be pushing stainless steel as an alternative but any links to a good set?
Looking to replace some really old, random pots and pans. Got one Tramontina ceramic skillet but looking for some pots for boiling pasta or making some soup.

Stainless Steel is just waaaaaaaaaaay too heavy for my liking.
You get what you pay for. You shouldn't have to baby cookware. Their coating will disappear with regular use after a year or two. Faster if you aren't careful with them. There's a reason you'll never see these in a proper kitchen. Pay twice the price and get something that will literally last a lifetime instead of this as seen on TV trash
Oh and you can't use them on induction cook-tops
Can you tell I hate these things? Speaking from experience lol

Any recommendations? I ussualy buy Kirkland hard idonized sets.
I bought a set of Cuisinart Stainless pots & pans about 20 years ago, via a deal with here or maybe Fatw*ll*t. It's been well used and even abused by overheating. Pan & pot bottoms still straight & true, interior surface heat colored, but quite non-stick given a quick olive oil spray on a warmed pan.
Buy good & that's what you have; buy junk and likewise, THAT'S what you have.

Not for non-stick sets, no. I don't dislike non-stick in general, it has its use cases.. just this specific set I found to be of questionable build quality. It didn't last as long as it should have with proper use. I think most home users would find them to be in a less than usable state in as little as a year with regular use, to the point where they'd be tossed and replaced. I hate waste and that's why I don't think this is a good set.
I have a triple ply stainless set of like 12 pieces I got from Sam's Club, which is what I use primarily. Then I have a couple small aluminum pans that are basically dedicated to breakfast. Like anything, how well it works for the user will depend on how it's used. Cooking is like that.

This set is a better mix of pans, not sure if worse quality or not.
