I wouldn't get white unless you want the greatest chance of dirt showing. Some of the used white ones I saw online needed a good cleaning - can you even clean that mesh material?
I am trying a single one and I like it better than my Macbook speakers (of course), but missed the stereo sound feeling so bought a 2nd.
I really like the blue color.
Half baked product. They sell for $50 on fb marketplace for new ones.
It does have temp sensor though.
At this point Apple should be taking Spotify's stance as an opportunity to make Apple Music better and claim market share, but Apple Music, imo, continues to be vastly inferior.
Someone has to challenge that greed. It won't be us peasants.
That's partially because Spotify won't implement Airplay 2 just to spite Apple, but also because Apple slow rolled support for 3rd party music services in an attempt to bolster Apple Music
The HomePod/Mini ended up being a half baked product, with less than half baked voice recognition, and inadequate service support for the thing it's arguably best at: playing music. I wish it was better so much.
We've been running multiple HomePod Minis--and recently added a HomePod gen 2--in a multi-user household with Apple Music for a few years now, and overall it's a good experience. Alexa is more competent than Siri overall, but being able to Airplay and control the home music situation with the Music app on the phone is far slicker than Alexa with either Apple Music or Spotify--particularly in a multi-user household.

I've tried all the music streaming apps and Apple has by far the best sound quality after Tidal. You're crazy if you think Spotify is better than Apple Music.
Not that I am aware of. Best way to integrate them to play nice with each other is through Home Assistant. Been running it for 4 years, won't go back to any single system.
