Open box is like lottery. I once picked up an open box excellent laptop. Everything looked like new until I set it up. The laptop was supposed to be i7/16GB gaming laptop but the system information told i5/8GB. Obviously previous buyer swapped either motherboard or case. I had to take it back to the store and spent over half an hour to explain and return it...

not missing much. Laptop looks good, feels good, but is sluggish and thermals are bad. I had this one and I had to return it. It's OK for very light usage. That's about it.

The hinges on these don't last 6 months. Epoxy will help and then I resorted to epoxy aluminum can because the epoxy holds up but the plastic does not. Go with the ThinkPad models with full-length hinges made for business.
