These aren't motion activated.

They turn on when no other light is present.
Good deal, but I prefer "warm white" over "daylight white".
We picked these up from the last deal. I agree about the warm white being preferred over this daylight white. It makes the space look more commercial having it be the daylight white. I didn't think the difference would be all that significant. Worth it either way at this price instead of tripping over the stairs

I prefer these since they can be used anywhere. Been using them for several years and charge lasts for months. More expensive but worth it.

Bought the 6pk in Jan for about $7 after tax to try out. They are still working fine. Yes the light is very blueish white and I myself prefer warm lights for the bedroom but these were not meant for my bedroom and they use very little power which was the main reason I got them (and price).

I place them in hallways, kitchen area, and bathroom.

Warm white seems to be just a $1 more expensive - https://a.co/d/atU7qOW

Just chiming in that these night lights are great - I've had these for a couple of months and they sense ambient light well and turn off when there's ambient light around. Truly dusk-to-dawn.
As other commenters mentioned they're daylight (more white) colored rather than warm (more amber), which I didn't mind for the price.

That's good to know, but I think daylight vs warm white is its effects on meletonin
Supposedly color temperature (Warm White 3000 Kelvin vs Daylight 5000 K) makes a difference. The more blue (daylight) the more likely to disturb sleep.

It isn't just visible light that has an effect. Apparently LEDs do not generate near infrared which is supposed to be beneficial. Natural sunlight and warm white non LED sources such as candles, oil lamps, and incandescent lights give off IR. These little guys are so small, it probably doesn't matter.

I've got a couple of different brands of these types of lights. One set is warm white and the other "daylight." The daylight is "harsher" and "washed out" to me. Personal preference but I don't really like it. To me, working in artificial "daylight temperature" light is like listening to music with the bass track missing.

Cheap LEDs aren't tuned to any particular color temperature.

They mostly just do exactly what I'm saying and throw a color filter on them.

Regardless, it's generally a falsehood that LEDs don't emit light outside of their advertised spectrum. Those temperatures are just dimmer, so you don't see them as well.
If its in the UV or IR range, we're not likely to see that light anyway, are we? I keep hearing that LEDS do not produce IR or near IR. Is that true?

We got a 6 pack a little over a month ago. Daylight white which we like and except for one going bad right away, they've been pretty good. Bathrooms, hallways and other dark areas. I do like having them in our bathrooms. I don't expect a lot and the fact they just light up when it gets dark is all we wanted. The fact that, according to people in here, they seem to last a while is good to hear as well.

We only use motion activated.
This one is not.

Do not care for dusk to dawn.

Even outdoors.
No insects please.

Sorry, Not sure i understand your question. LEDs do come specifically in IR and UV so I mean there's that.

The product at your link shows six for $11. This deal is twelve for $9.60. Not sure how that's $1 more. Common Core math?
