The LG OLED65G3PUA G3 is a high-end TV from LG's 2023 OLED lineup Here are some key features and specifications:
Display Type: OLED EVO2
Resolution: 4K (2160p)
Screen Size: 65 inches
High Dynamic Range (HDR): Dolby Vision, HDR 10, Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG)
Refresh Rate: 120Hz
Smart Platform: webOS
HDMI Inputs: 4 HDMI 2.1
USB Ports: 3
Bluetooth Version: 5.0
Works With: Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple HomeKit
The TV is designed to be wall-mounted with the included slim wall mount. It promises a 70% brighter image over the LG B3 OLED due to the G3's new Micro Lens Array (MLA) technology. It also has LG's latest 2023 processor, the α9 AI Processor Gen6, which promises improved image processing.
As for the price, it varies by retailer but is generally around $2,196.99. The TV has received high ratings from users, with an average of 4.8 stars out of 5. Please note that prices and ratings can vary over time and by location. It's always a good idea to check multiple sources before making a purchase.

G3 vs C3 from rtings:

'The LG G3 OLED is better than the LG C3 OLED. They're both nearly identical, except that the G3 doesn't come with a stand, instead having a slim wall mount included in the box and a fully flat profile that allows the TV to be completely flat on the wall when wall mounted. In theory, the G3 can also get much brighter than the C3; however, in practice, you won't see much difference except in certain contexts, such as when bright white clouds are displayed. They both offer DTS audio support this year, a clear improvement over both preceding models.'

I thought I read somewhere that the G3 is less prone to burn in because of the MLA tech stuff?

People need to stop worrying about burn in. Of course it's a real thing and possible but the number of displays that suffer from permanent burn in is very low within the usable lifespan of the TV. This goes way back to the plasma vs LCD era and it was way overblown even back then. It's even less of an issue today with a lot of mitigation built in to these technologies. If you're just slightly careful you don't really have to worry about it.

Not even that. The difference in peak brightness is reserved for HDR. Yes, the G series is the top of the line and people who want the absolute best should get it, but honestly 95% of the people won't find a big enough difference to justify the extra cost

Cash back makes this the better deal. I get 6% back from Walmart with my credit card, more than enough to offset the tax.
