i think you can score better deals through the samsung site if you have something to trade in, otherwise I guess this is decent if you're just starting from scratch.
My tab s8 ultra has nothing on my s23 ultra even with an older processor. The massive screen is perfect for working on hw or taking notes on lectures etc. . Netflix or any kind of media is nuts. Games that support such a huge screen like hearthstone were also amazing.
These are not close to being decent deals. Why is it being thumbed up?
You can literally get them all for cheaper directly from Samsung.
For a guy that only uses his tablet in bed to read (no games, no camera use), but usually has multiple tabs open, would the base A9+ be sufficient? I was leaning towards the FE, but I can get the A9+ for $169 at MyExchange (plus, no tax, free shipping).
So you prefer a s8 over laptop? Looking for a graduation present for college. TIA
No way. The laptop can be used for work, whereas the tablet can't use Windows apps. One will have more utility outside of a class. Plus there are laptops with support for pen input
Both devices are built for their own purposes. I own both a laptop and tablet as I use my laptop for editing and work. My tablet travels with me a lot because its lighter and easier to carry around. I got the whole setup for it such as a keyboard and mouse. If the college student has a laptop already, go with a tablet.
I took both on a recent business trip. My laptop was all business. The tab was all personal and I didn't take a keyboard or mouse.
While at my on-site meeting, the lady moderating took all of her notes with a stylus and a tablet.
I prefer the keyboard for taking notes. My wife uses a tablet about 75% of the time and is a big fan.
I think it depends on the user and the use case. I see value in each.

It sure does. One thing I forgot to mention why I dont take my laptop with me all the time is because its a $2,500 usd laptop. I dont want to risk it getting damage and its heavier, like 10 lbs heavy since it needs to have large fans to cool the cpu and graphics card. Thus why having a tablet is more convenient for me.
I'm not seeing the S8 Ultra though? Are the products shown specific per person?
That's because Samsung only serie the latest version of their products on their website. You can still get the S9+, which is in all ways better than the S8 Ultra (except it just has a smaller screen) for the same price.

Tablets are fine as secondary devices.
Yes, was as good as new. Came with box and everything in it.
AMOLED display, it's pretty good. It does have a microSD slot if you are asking expandable memory

But the trend is to be more productive on Tablets... hence Dex Mode.
There is not much you can not do on a Tablet especially since you can use Kiwi Browser.
I also like Chrome Books and Laptops.
How? I'm getting $999 with the s6 lite trade in
