The Shakespeare 3-pack replacement line spool fits select models of black and decker and craftsman weed wacker trimmers. These spools allow for quick and easy line loads and are great for trimming and edging grass.

0.065 Trimmer line spools (3-pack)

Factory wound for maximum reliability

High performance trimmer line

I ordered and picked up same day, and have had no issues. Decent quality replacement line, for the same price on this 3 pack that I've found for single equivalent spools elsewhere.
Lowe's shows on clearance, so price and inventory are YMMV.

Have you actually used these? How long does it last? Most reviews say these go crazy fast and you have to manually spook the line

Will this work on a greenworks 12v string trimmer?

Just in case anybody is wondering....yes you can 3D print with this stuff. [cnckitchen.com] It's basically nylon filament and prints as such. You're definitely going to have to dry it first, and also adjust your extrusion multiplier since 0.065" is just slightly below the 1.75mm standard filament diameter.

Normally, it's not really worth it to use trimmer line vs getting a dedicated spool of nylon filament, but for this price, I'd pick some up. Years ago I used a similar roll of trimmer line picked up from the thrift store to print a few parts and they are tough as nails. You're not usually using nylon as a full-time material anyway, so these small rolls might be all you need for practical prints. Or use it for prototyping and save your expensive roll of PA6-GF for the final part.

Came for the crafty 3D printer folk. Was not disappointed.

I just refilled the spool manually yesterday. This would fit perfectly in my string trimmer and it is in stock in my area. I just submitted the order 10 minutes ago and it is ready for pickup now.
