This happens every year. Unfortunately the 65+ hasn't, to my knowledge, been discounted. They must move significantly better than the smaller form factors.
Of course, that makes a lot of sense- OLED is a premium technology so most people are also going to buy a premium size for it.
Incredible deals can be had though, if you are in the market for 55 inches and under. Good luck.
I just got back from Richmond, Ca and Concord, Ca. Neither of them had any sales going on. Richmond had an idiot worker there trying to tell me that only display models go down to $800, while Concord had a guy there who didn't really know anything about tv's in general. Richmond has the 77" C4 in stock, and Concord has 48", 55", 65", and 77" C4's in stock. So, whether or not they drop the C3's in price is up in the air.
The C3 is too dim to use in a sun lit room. C4 is brighter, don't know if that is bright enough.
Lol. What a ridiculous comment. Just regurgitating the same misinformation as so many other people who've never owned one. The vast majority of TVs are only 300 nits or less. The C2 and C3 are over 800 nits. That's brighter than some QLEDs. I have a C2 in a very bright room and it is plenty bright. I would laugh so hard if I found out you're just rocking a regular LED TV with 300 nits, while calling these, "too dim."
Have a 65" C3 in a sunlit room and it handles the light and reflections beautifully. I was pleasantly surprised because I went in expecting worse.
It's people like that guy, who keep spouting this nonsense, that made you expect worse. These TVs are over 800 nits, while the majority of TVs that all of us have had for many years are only 200-300 nits. These are so much brighter than the vast majority of TVs, yet you'll always get those people saying they're dim, usually while they have a TV that's nowhere near as bright. Lol.

Also, does one need to be a member for all the 5 years to be able to claim the coverage Costco provides?
If anyone could just show up and purchase it there would be no advantage for those of us who pay for a membership.
