I have had this exact set for the last 3 years. It's stayed outside, uncovered in NY weather and surprisingly has not tarnished besides for where you place the screws to put the table and chairs together. A little WD-40 would get that out easily though. The chairs and table still feel as sturdy as when they were assembled.
