If your new carrier asks for an address, you can provide them with Google's Address: 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043. That's it! Once you've provided your new carrier with the necessary information, they should be able to port your Google Voice number over to their service.

one store i called said something about an activation fee but the one that called me back i said "so it will be the same price of $50 + $50 first month" and he said yes. might try later today and report back...me and my mom are using XRs and mint yearly plan (mint offered $180 for 15gb or $240 unlimited to stay) that runs out at the end of the month. would probably use the phone a month then switch to spectrum's unlimited plan that's $30 for two lines (will have to switch back to our XRs until the verizon phones unlock at 60 days).
Veriff verification was positively a PITA, not only do you waive your biometric rights away, you cannot do whole purchase process on a mobile device, because it would stick on "Wait a minute while we verify your documents" even though it had already approved them. Had to switch to desktop and the handoff to mobile and back was the only way to get it to work as Safari wasn't cutting it. I feel sorta bad to the dude in India who is looking at 7 videos of me staring at the camera with increasing frustration, but at least he's getting paid for it.
