Gen 6 wellness edition and Gen 5E are available. Listed price is $79. Signup with email to get $25 off code which seems to apply on Gen 6 making the price down to 54.

Fossil is going out of the smartwatch business so there might not be an update to the wearOS going forward but it should work well with all Android phones for a while.

More negative reviews than good reviews on the company's own website. Also note the company announced in January 2024 it has left the smartwatch business.

I had a Fossil Gen 3 smartwatch I bought back in 2018. It held up fine until late last year when it longer took a charge. I was very bummed when that happened. I used it mainly as a way to pause/play music and audio books, see texts, and check time without taking out my phone. Glad to get in on one of these and hope that it holds up for just as long somehow.

I think the wearOS 3.x update caused some bugs so pixel / galaxy watch is much better compared to this but if price is not compared.

If they EOL the fossil smartwatches, you will be screwed. Just like Samsung stopped the support for some older watches' plug-ins with Android 14.
You better grab the Samsung Watch 4 from Walmart for a little bit more $.

At this price point, continued support is nearly irrelevant so long as the watch itself continues to function for more than a couple months.

e: Also WearOS compatibility should manage most of the functional stuff, you'll just miss out on future firmware changes.

Lots of reviews complaining about battery life. Even Fossil themselves say a fully charged battery only lasts 24 hours at best. For reference here is the correct amazon link for this watch. The previous link posted earlier in this thread is incorrect.

I have a Gen 5 SE and should be similar sans lesser processing (Qualcomm 3100 vs the 4100+ this one has). The watch itself I liked. Battery was indeed it's weakest point. If you're tracking a hike for example using Google Fit, it'll only last you 4-5 hours since it's doing constant heart rate monitoring and also depending how often you check your progress and stats. That aside, even as EOL for all Fossil smart watches, since it's connected through WearOS, you should have full functionally, you just won't get updates with exception to your apps on it. Definitely worth the price when compared to a generic eBay smart watch that isn't WearOS powered.
