I have found the old model to do quite well.
If you have animal hair, get a hair brush off Amz for loosening it up.

You'd want the 4AH or 6AH batteries, but 2.5's are good for little clean-ups. I bought mine for more than this used! But if you have a bunch of 2.5's they are ok too Smilie

Love this vac but it does eat batteries very quickly. Def recommend couple of 6.0s

It can't be any worse than their m12 and m18 compact handheld vacuums, talk about no suction. The older M18 model used to be nice for vacuuming cars, but you really need something with an active brush for carpets esp. if you have pets.

I don't trust their CFM airflow specs at all either, they list the M18 handheld at 40CFM and 45CFM for the M18 larger unit, and there's no way they are not even in the same zip code for suction power. The packout version is rated at 50 CFM, but it has no handle so it's not really handy.

I would say barely passable. I have the M18 vacuum and it is not impressive by any means when it comes to cleaning the car. I can't imagine the M12 doing that great a job

Why isn't this Packout compatible? It looks same size and shape as the cooler. PASS!

The nice thing about this is the wall mount.

It's all I have used for the last 3 years or so. I love the size. I hated lugging a big shop vac around my small garage

Has anyone used this to clear out a home A/C drain pipe?

I don't know about the M12 version but the M18 version is really easy to burn out. It doesn't run well with the high output batteries.

I had a friend burn one out this weekend and he's a Milwaukee dealer. He just warranties his out every 30 days for himself.

I own a lot of Milwaukee tools but this definitely isn't going to be one of them.
