As I learned from a past post, you can combine the many gift cards into one gift card in your account. Go to the account, then Payment/Gift Card button. In there is the feature to "transfer" value of gift card to others or into another gift card. Combining the cards into one allows you to avoid small amounts left over on a card. You can only use the money from one gift card for a purchase, so combining the values into one is a better way to use up all of the value of many cards.

Just used these discounted gift cards on the BOGO footlong deal.... with the discount cards it came out to less than $4/footlong turkey sub. Put the order online while you are just outside the store. Then after you finish the order, go in line and give them verbal direction to add the extra-this or extra-that you want. If you just rely on them following your online requests for extra stuff, you are not likely to get extra-stuff. I got the un-toasted sub, which is not taxed where I live. Went home to put it in a toaster oven and put some avocado on it. Worth it if you like Subway sandwiches. Have to admit, toasting the bread at home so that it is crunchy makes the sandwich better.
There are many subs that are less than $15, and if you load the card into the app and use the FLBOGO promo code you can get 2 subs for < $15. I would say it's a slick deal
You can use two gift cards for one purchase by the way.
First hit "Add Gift Card" and type in the code.
Then under the "Payment" section select "Manage"
Finally "Add Payment Method" and select gift card to add a second card to the order.

You can use multiple gift cards to pay or combine multiple gift cards together into a single card, which is what I do. It is inconvenient to need to copy/paste the info for several individual cards into the app and then combine them manually. May be a deal breaker for less tech-savvy people or those with a low tolerance for spending a few minutes doing finicky app wrangling to save money. For me, it's worth it.
Thanks, I didn't know about this.

The Tip screen on the payment check out screen is insulting for both the employee and the customer. It is take out! Do I tip the grocery store cashier? How about the guy at the gas station? Count me out. I will buy the much larger sub at walmart for $6 everyday before I pay $13 for 1/3 less at subway. Pfft.. they are done to me.

About the coment about tips does not efect the slickness of the deal. I know the daily fast food constumer may not be offended, but I am and that does indeed efect the slickness of the deal. Do I need to remind folks that walmart subs are cheaper and do not require a food sales tax in many states not to mention the damm insulting tip screen. That is a slicker deal and does not require a app to get a deal and monitize your info either.

I'm not sure this is the best value. First, because now they are offering free 6" sub ($9 value) on https://www.subway.com/en-us/subwaycard for purchases above $25. (EDIT: You can purchase many of these to get many free subs, so I still think this is better value than OP's deal.)
Costco's deal of paying $55 instead of $75 saves you 26.67%
Subway's deal of paying $25 instead of $34 saves you 26.47%

However, $9 is inflated price for the 6" sub. With the coupon codes you can get 2 footlongs for $12.99 equivalent to four 6" subs so the price becomes $3.25 a 6" sub.

Subway's deal of paying $25 instead of $28.25 saves you 11.5%

Either way Costco's deal saves you more money percentage-wise.

Thanks! You guys convinced me this is a better deal, given the 2% Costco cashback for Executive membership + possible coupons + possible combination of gift cards. (I'm not a frequent Subway purchaser, so always learning.)

The other deal might still be the best option for those with card coupons for 5% or 10% off, and after this deal expires. At least for my Chase coupon it coded correctly and I still got the 10% off when purchasing gift cards directly through Subway.

the good thing is... subway seems to cycle through their sales... one week of nothing followed by bogo-50% off followed by the bogo. If subway is one of your cheap lunch options, put it in your rotation for when they go bogo. (if you watch any sports on tv, you'll be flooded with their commercials letting you know what sale is currently running.)

I'm sure there is a business reason for breaking these out into $15 cards just a mild annoyance when buying for yourself. Anyway, got each of them loaded then transferred to a single card for simplicity when ordering. Took about 5-7 mins to do all of that. Good deal when paired with all their BOGO deals.
