I redeemed, and was purchasing costco.com egift card. Got denied. So I logged into giftcards.com, and type in the 16 digit card number + CVV, website says: "No card found with these details. Please check the details and try again, or contact customer service". WTF??

I don't get it. Can I use Amazon gift cards outside Amazon? If not, you're locking yourself in even more than by not converting. The vast majority of products on Amazon are overpriced, so not only are you undoing the savings from the deal, you're more than likely losing money. Would I at least be able to use those Amazon gift cards with Amazon Pay?

It appears you have to fill in billing address when you redeem the visa gift card. I purchased Amazon and Costco gifts cards and everything went through.

$26.54 profit. Took all of 10 minutes. I immediately used them for my electric and internet bills.

The check your balance thing on the site doesn't seem to work. But the cards worked fine.

I was also able to do it twice - so $53.

People always try to add their credit card rewards to "profit", but they must forget that when they go to spend these cards that they don't get rewards, so it washes out.

I just checked my gift card history. Last year the visa gift card worked on T-mobile, but it was called Visa Virtual account back then. One of those two companies must have change their processing terms or systems which is causing this issue.

Guess I'll see if these cards can apply to the internet or electric/gas bills.
