Opened the Visible App today and saw that current subscribers are eligible for annual plans. I currently pay $40/month (Visible+ and smartwatch with $10/mo discount) but this comes to about $32.92/month.
Only supports apple watches, limiting their pool. Yeah, no.
Beware! Visible lost my phone number on port in. They also refused to pay out my sign up incentive gift card. Their support is done exclusively through Facebook messenger and a different person replies to each message. If you ever get escalated to level 2, they will email you one time from a no-reply email and you will have to start over every time with level 1 to reply.
The service is fine if it's working, but if something goes wrong you're gonna have a bad time getting it resolved. Only port in if you're okay risking losing your phone number, or are okay wasting 10+ hours getting it back if it happens.
Where I live, Verizon service is amazing. My parents have it no issue. (visible uses verizon towers)a
I recently signed up in February 2024 for their regular plan at $20. And wow, you can barely websurf or Reddit with the throttled and deprioritized speeds. Streaming videos is painful with lots of buffering. Constantly have 4G service and not 5GLTE with Tellos or GoogleFi
But I rarely venture out and I'm usually at home with Wifi so I don't notice. Call quality leaves lots to be desired, lots of static sometimes. Other person can't hear me. and I get $5 off my fios bill and unlimited talk, text, and data. But the service isn't great and the customer service is literally non existent. Outsourced to some other country.

I was on a Visible trial and just switched today. Signed up and successfully ported my number from a T-Mobile family plan in less than an hour. Pretty seamless, overall.
how does this work? I already have FIOS and I think I have a $10 auto payment discount. I pay $44/month for 300/300 unlimited data. Is this $10 discount in lieu of that $10 auto payment discount, or it's on top of it?
On top of it you get a code from visible and provide it to fios in webchat and they will apply an additional discount to your fios plan
Have an interesting situation where my credit card covers full insurance on every phone we own so long as we pay the monthly bill with the card. That saves us like 30+ dollars per month over insuring with apple care. Should I bother going to the annual plan and losing the insurance benefits on all 3 phones? The math seems like it would be very close? Currently 3 phones and 3 watches on visible at $30 total per line per month.
I know this uses the Verizon network, but how does it actually compare to Verizon? Will I be getting the same signal? I'm living in a new development area where Verizon signal is pretty poor, relies on Verizon Wifi for calls frequently. I'm currently on Verizon's prepaid (only myself on the plan) and paying around $60-70/month. If this is going to be the same service, I might as well try. But I've read in the past that these providers have lower priority on the same network, so lower speeds, poorer call quality etc.
If you get Visible+ you do get the same priority level as Verizon postpaid. Was with Visible+ until just 2 days ago, I ported to boost mostly for the amazing deal of a phone with service for about the same price I was paying on Visible. Also, I was not really taking full advantage of the unlimited data since most of the times I'm close to wifi save the occasional long trip. Nevertheless, if you are frequently away from Wifi the Visible+ deal is unbeatable, apart from the high priority level you also get access to the ultrawide band and if you do happen to be in areas with this band your data is never throttled no matter how much you use.
FYI for folks: Apple watch plan can only have the same number as your primary. You cant have a different number for the apple watch. I wanted to use it on my wife's watch and they said it cant be done.
Is this a regular, reusable deal? I'm on Visible+ for $40/mo for 2 years, just switched a few months ago. Switching for 1 year and then going to "full" price ($540/yr) would save $1/mo only over two years. So while it may be beneficial to some, it wouldn't be for me unless I could use this deal again next year.
Use the app? Never had an issue with their site or app...
App is tied to coding for their website. It's back working today but it will be back down again I'm sure. It's been down several times over the past 3 months. For days at a time. They need a site support person to remedy that

Call your credit card first and see if the plan still applies if you pay annually. Let me know if you do it, I have the same benefit but I'm not ready to commit to annual quite yet!
Switched from Verizon at $85+ a month to Visible+ at $45 a month ($35 for first 6 months). Porting was a minor hassle. But since then it's been identical to normal Verizon. My only hesitation would be if it started to suck, and I wanted to switch back to Verizon standard, Would I be prorated and sent $ back? Or am I out of luck once hitting sign up for a year.

I don't even have a Facebook account anymore. The way I'm starting one up. They don't have any customer service through their app or anything? Or through email?

Thanks!
There's a guy with an exchange, but I think he's in prison now.
