CVS Info:

First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.

Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing

The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called ExtraCare Bucks (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.

Often, CVS advertises items as Free after ECB For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.

The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions then earning more to keep doing the same. Its a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

Ohhhhhhhhh I might have to make this tomorrow! The size of the loin in my freezer is small. I won't answer about my loin Roll

Does it have a strong mustard taste? I hate mustard but will eat a little cooked in other things.
No, not strongly mustard the honey makes it sweeter.

And this is a typical redjen recipe. Not very specific but enough to get you there.

USE your meat thermometer. Overcooking it will make it super dry as a pork loin is very lean.

I heart my meat thermometer. I use it for everything. Heck, I used it while grilling out tonight in the pouring rain. I can't imagine anyone not using one.

I went to a Taste of Home cooking school show once, and they had you pour some apple juice in the bottom of the pan, rub olive oil and some spices and herbs onto the top and baste it with the apple juice. It was really good. I've made it several times. I'm going to try your way next time, Jen. The same thing tends to get old.

Altwernate method. Thin out some orange marmalade (actaully a jar) using some orange juice (half a cup?) in a saucepan over low heat until the jelly chunks melt. Use that as your baste.

I know. Not one word was spoken about what was going on or when they planned to take their daughter back (not that I mind her here.) She handed her her clothes and walked away. Nothing else.

Oh, I don't mind her being here. She's a good kid. She just looked sort of deflated when her mom just walked away.

This is a prime example of how one person can change a young person's life forever. Luckily she has you and your family in her life when she obviously needs a family the most.

My kids drive me bat shit crazy a lot of the time but I cannot imagine treating any of them this way, much less a 14 year old girl. Don't they understand that these are very impressionable years for her? Oddly enough, the father doesn't even know where I live and has met me once, yet, he hasn't called at all.

Weird shit.
