Hmmm that makes not want to trust this as I am buying an external HD for using as an extra backup to my Synology NAS.

Has anyone had good luck with this purchase?

I received this "Used - Like New" item yesterday. Poor package and no data cable. The drive itself looks dirty. No manual, which I don't care about. I can't even try it as no data cable within the package. I shipped it back right away.
