Two things from the fine print that are not obvious and worth highlighting:
Promo Credit does not show in your gift card balance, but is applied towards future eligible purchases. Promo Credit is valid through and expires on January 31, 2026, 11:59 PM (PT).
Most folks probably shop on Amazon frequently enough for this to not be an issue, but it's a pretty quick expiration to be aware of.

Some said the promotion is separately for digital and physical orders.

I did a digital order first with the promo code. Then when I tried to do a second order on the physical one, it says "The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase".

The physical one has a different promo code, GOOGLE, I think.
