Did I tell you my latest fluff stories?

1. I was cleaning Dude' cage, and I had the hand vac out. Gabbie was scared of the vaccum, and hid. Dude normally does not pay attention to the vaccum, but he saw that Gabbie was being a scardey cat, and he valiantly tried to protect her. He was jumping around and pawing at the vaccum, and tried to bite it. His fur was standing on end and he looked like he'd stuck his tail in an electrical outlet! After the vaccum was turned off, he ran over to look at Gabbie, and she ignored him So much for chivalry!

2. I gave the Guineas a blanket to lay on. Ian tried to eat it, and Anthony kept jumping around and pawing at his tummy. I think it was tickeling him! I had to remove it because Anthony eventually became scared of it. He sat on his ledge and refused to move until it was gone. Poor babies!

Belushi had a lot to drink (among other things). I doubt he's rolling over, wherever he is.

Baby chinnies.........I would love to have one, but I am scared of what might happen. Gabs is getting a bit old for babies. She's never had any. She will be 12 this year. Dude would be clueless, and probably try to eat it

But they probably would make one cute little fluff! Dude is a standard grey, and Gabbie is a beige. She was the most wonderful freckles.

Read up on it. Gerbils don't eat the babies. The fathers can stay with the kids for the first 2 months and they help out. I bet Chins are the same. And and and gerbs still go into heat at 2 years old. Does Gabbie go into heat still?

Yes, she does! And it drives Dude banannas. The last time she became especially aggressive, and did a lot of bar chewing, trying to get at him. I think he was intrigued, but scared. He was like, "Who is this wild woman, and why is she glaring at me? I just wanna be friends!"
