i dvr'd this when it premiered...i was born in 84, so i never got to really experience carson in the 70's when he was really good...i really enjoyed this- it almost boggles my mind that the show was LIVE and on til 1am(til like 1983) i quit cigarettes for the 3rd time april 17th..i like the one part where the guy is like "he really convinced himself he wouldn't be affected from smoking"...thats kinda how i use to be...i use to go running 3-4 miles then smoke a cigarette like i'm all badass etc anyways. guess i was excited that someone else watched this |

Cloverfield - Always hear about it never seen it. Unwatchable. I'm so tired of these shaky handy cam movies that get by on hype.
Angel - She dreams of being a famous writer, becomes one and pursues the man of her dreams. Early 1800's England type of thing with horrid CGI. Terrible. So it's back to watching Bewitched for the rest of the weekend. |

I laughed when watching it because I thought, "If someone had told me Kevin Nash was in this, I would have watched it sooner!" Scantily-clad women everywhere, but it was more entertaining seeing one of my fave pro wrestlers in it.

"This guy's walking down the street when he falls in a hole.
"A doctor passes by and the guy shouts 'Hey you. Can you help me?' The doctor writes a prescription, throws it down in the hole. "Then a priest comes along and the guy shouts up. The priest writes out a prayer, throws it down in the hole. "Then a friend walks by. The friend jumps in the hole. Our guy says, 'Are you stupid? Now we're both down here.' The friend says, 'Yeah, but I've been down here before and I know the way out.'" |

It's been years since I saw Enchanted Cottage but still remember how good it was. Some other really good but less well known classics are The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, Random Harvest (a bit implausible but very touching), These Three and Lydia. Then if you want a clever comedy, check out The Thin Man series. Happiness and depression are both feelings, just like joy and anger. It's not feelings that give us problems. It's what we do with them that makes the difference.

The Trip - Very funny and entertaining with some beautiful scenery and great food thrown in. A word of caution, don't watch this on an empty stomach. 3.5/5
