I don't think you're supposed to put that much thought into it.

Happiness and depression are both feelings, just like joy and anger. It's not feelings that give us problems. It's what we do with them that makes the difference.

Men in Black 3 6.5 I think Will Smith is a freakin Vampire..he looks the same..but he is getting old for the "Cmon Man!!!" role...and Tommy Lee...WTF did they do to his face??? I know he had craggy face...but it almost looked like a melting wax mask at times....

The Change-up: 2/5 Two friends pee in a fountain wishing they had the lives of the other--wakes up with one another's body. Not much to it. Some funnies but overall was so-so.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes: 2/5 Maybe it's not my genre. Just not so fond of animal type movies... the storyline was okay. The beginning felt like it was dragging...It needed to happen fast, and somehow it happened and ended. i thought shopping was addicting but shopping with coupons is my new high

Pandora and The Flying Dutchman - Visually appealing. Okay.
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows - Not fond of complicated plots that the characters have to spell out for the audience, the Guy Ritchie action sequence of super slow motion, and the monochrome color throughout. The film's just very flat with no life to it. The disguises were only slightly amusing. A 3rd film with a different director would be best. Grey Gardens - The documentary of Jackie O's socialite relatives living in a run down mansion with racoons and cats. Little Edie is fun to watch but the cinema verite style filming turns into a boring home movie really. Melancholia - I don't get the hype over this movie. So incredibly boring and depressing like the title. Kirsten Dunst has no depth at all. The end of the world is coming and you're just going to what? Have it out with your family? Seriously? You wouldn't have sex one last time, get shite faced, get high the first time on heroin, hug your kiddo till they can't breathe, laugh, etc...?? I would totally live it up! Finzz is both my mother and my sister.

V for Vendetta [imdb.com] - I thought it was pretty good. Seemed long, but enjoyable. Before I watched it, I thought it was a hippie/hipster movie because of those dumb masks everyone wears at the Occupy rallies. I have concluded that those people are even more retarded after watching the movie. Plot was good, some cool fight scenes. 3.75 out of 5
The Island [imdb.com] - Really enjoyed this movie. Plot was predictable, but special effects were awesome and the sci-fi aspect was really entertaining. Plus my favorite actress Ending was awesome, wish I saw this movie sooner. 4.5 out of 5

Did I miss the explanation of how TLJ is still an agent? I thought he had been zapped and now back with his wife. Really liked the movie, but I agree about his face. The Great Experiment is over. |

Here's a movie: The Man From Earth http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0756683/ "it left me with a sense of true wonder and joy, long after the credits ended. If the movie had been two hours longer I still would not have been bored, even though most of the film takes place in one small room. It's like watching a ninety minute Twilight Zone, with a perfect surprise ending." No car chases. No explosions. No gun fights. (well, sorta.) Yep, "90-minute Twilight Zone that leaves you with a sense of wonder long after the credits ended" kinda sums it up. Joe Biden says Buy a Shotgun! Wackiness ensues! [youtu.be]
