A "Hey I just watched a movie" thread

12,438 1,117 April 23, 2010 at 06:49 PM
One of the other forums I go to has one of these threads and I've been turned on to some good movies that other regulars just watched. I was kind of surprised not to see a similar thread here (at least not that I could find.) Big Grin

I just rewatched "Kinamand" - a cute drama about a Danish plumber who gets involved in an arranged marriage with a Chinese illegal. Good stuff (Netflix instant.)

So what have you folks watched recently?

of course, white text probably shows up clear as day on some of the alternate Slickdeals display options with different colors and stuff

On android app, they both show up.

Man of Steel I was kind of disappointed with this movie. CGI over powered the movie. 6/10

The Heat (screener) Hilarious!!! If you want a good laugh and looking to pass time I would highly recommend it. 7/10

I tried really hard to love MOS, but too many issues with the pacing and character development. Too many scenes with no emotion or impact whatsoever. Movie could have been much better if it was given a better script. David Goyer needs to stay the hell away from MOS sequel. He has good ideas but is incapable of writing an adequate script for them.

I'd give MOS a 6.5/10 and I'm being generous.
