A "Hey I just watched a movie" thread

One of the other forums I go to has one of these threads and I've been turned on to some good movies that other regulars just watched. I was kind of surprised not to see a similar thread here (at least not that I could find.)
I just rewatched "Kinamand" - a cute drama about a Danish plumber who gets involved in an arranged marriage with a Chinese illegal. Good stuff (Netflix instant.)
So what have you folks watched recently?

I really liked it. I'm sure there are a million flaws for anyone taking it too seriously, but it was a great popcorn flick. Also, love it or hate it, how good is Bryan Cranston? The man can act!
Star Trek: Into Darkness - 1/5 - Once again JJ Abrams rapes the Star Trek franchise. Not counting this movie and the last one as being part of true Star Trek canon, it wasn't bad and was actually better than the last movie. They tried a couple token references to the original series that really weren't correct. There was a Tribble in sick bay and McCoy mentions a Gorn, but neither of these species had been discovered by Starfleet yet. They were discovered during the "5 year mission" of the original series.
I was surprised I enjoyed this much more than expected. Basically a huge commercial for the NFL, but the storyline kept me interested for the whole movie. Did not know it was directed by Ivan Reitman!
Kramer vs. Kramer - yes it stood the test of time. Not as vicious as I remembered. Was unaware what Hoffman was going through IRL and that he was upset with Streep. Gosh he was gorgeous!
The Curse Of Chucky - A most see for an fan of Chucky bringing him back to his killer roots and dropping the comedy aspects that turned the series into garbage.
Last movie I saw was Let's Be Cops because we had free movie cash that was expiring that day - it was a lot funnier than I expected, but I wasn't expecting much! I also rewatched The Internship which I liked better the second time, just might've been my mood!

As far as movies I've seen recently:
22 Jump Street was hilarious. It is easily one of the best sequels ever. I'm not so sure I would put it higher than 21 Jump Street but it's as close as a sequel can get for sure. Many consider it funnier so to each his own. 9/10
i frankenstein. I made the mistake of spending 38 cents on this movie at redbox. I was just standing there and didn't feel like researching the movies so I just went with it partially due to the 3D aspect. What a horrendous movie. 1/10 and that's only because some of the 3d was ok.
I have 22 Jump Street in "queue" as well as the latest Captain America. Watched X-Men: Days of Future Past yesterday and enjoyed it!
Anchorman 2 - 0.5/5 - The first movie was pretty good, this one was just dumb. A couple chuckles, that's it, and the ending was stupid.
Pain & Gain - 4/5 - Based on a true story and it was definitely one of those stories you just can't make up.
Carrie (2013) - 5/5 - One of the few cases where a remake is as good, if not better, than the original. Of course better technology means better special effects, so that was a plus. It was really one time in a movie when a cell phone video being uploaded to youtube added to the story.
World War Z - 3.5/5 - Not bad, but it could have been better. I knew before watching the movie that it didn't follow the book (the only book I've actually read since High School, btw). Would like to have seen 2 key scenes from the book put on film and they could have still used the same storyline.
Hunger Games 2: Catching Fire - 1/5 - First off, I've not read any of the books and I didn't think the first movie was very good either. This movie was boring as crap. I did like the white P90 & F2000 rifles the soldiers carried, they looked good in that color.
Jackass presents: Bad Grandpa - 3/5 - Funny, but not as funny as I'd hoped.
The Wolf of Wall Street - 4.5/5 - I didn't think this would really be a movie I'd like, but I did enjoy it. The gratuitous nudity and sex didn't hurt. The movie had a similar vibe of "Wall Street" & "Boiler Room". I was a little disappointed at the ending because they didn't go into what happened to the other characters.
