Photography thread - for Schoob

Schoob asked for people to post their photography in a thread.

I'm not a pro, but I take some good photos and I have a sincere passion for photography. Soon, I hope to learn more and take some great photos.

Since Schoob wants to see a thread about photography, here are some good ones that I took of Luray Caverns last weekend.

As you can imagine, it's tough to get good photos in a cave, but this is my favorite view of Dream Lake inside the caverns:

Here's the formation that I think looks like a little resting sherpa carrying his pack. Or, if you look at the back of the formation, it kind of looks like Vlad Dracul.

Bass, crappie, catfish, bluegill. It also has white amur (chinese grass carp) for weed control

yeah I have been to Mt Charleston.. would love to see My Zion one of these weeks..either in the spring or fall..and the other 2 looks interesting Smilie

That's what I had to do when living out in the western part of Texas, could drive up to Buffalo Gap (near Abilene) or go east to Lost Maples [tx.us] to see some color in Oct. or Nov., depending on when the temps in Texas got low enough at night for the leaves to turn colors. Now that we're in the Seattle area all I have to do is look outside. Cool

Anybody get a good view of the partial eclipse today?

Mine was spoiled by some clouds and the fact that the sun is so far south of my view of Lady Bird Lake here in Austin

We got some sun at times but I never could actually see the sun, lots of clouds and some heavy rain today.
