People in the Mid-West/North-East...are you ready to shovel/de-ice again? *New storm coming Tuesday 2/1 into Wednesday 2/2*

I can't believe it....first major snow storm this year for the area and it's going to be a blizzard! we only had 1 snowfall earlier in the month and it was only about 2 inches.

a few days ago I checked weather.com and it only said snow showers for sunday & monday and now there is a blizzard warning and expecting 11-16 inches of snow. what a dramatic change.

I love snow so I am excited. (except when I have to drive....lol)

11-16 ? I'm hearing 12-20...and Im on the 20 line..

lol well based on the 2nd map it says 1'-2'....which is 1 to 2 foot.....=12-24 inches.

anyways, i'm sure you're used to the snow living up there in Boston.

We got a dusting around 7am and light snow now. They said it wasn't suppose to snow until 4pm. ut oh.

It's a race to the bread aisle from here and every gas station is packed

My flight from Atlanta this morning got canceled. We had to rebook our flight for tomorrow night instead. I don't mind the extra day with my family but my wife has to take an extra vacation day, which kind of sucks.

I'm located in S.E. Mass right along route 24.

The other day when we had that couple of inches of snow, while i was driving, it felt like i was in a space ship and all the snowflakes where stars... (no i did not have anything to drink). It puts you in a wonderful mood.

So, anyways, we're getting about a foot here. Already got an inch or so and it's gonna get wild. Gotta go to walmart soon and my walmart is the busiest one in the North East, haha! It's gonna be a zoo.

Looks like 15" to 20" for us depending on how it tracks according to our local forecasters - and we got snow covered everywhere right now - but hubby is napping in order to deal with it with the snow blower later tonight - to try to keep up with it - before it gets too deep - I hate snow - it's teh evil of winter

He hates it worse..lol...and I hate the laundry because he changes a few times a day because the clothes get soaked mid-day.
Not to mention he has to snowblow all this tonight and tomorrow and then get up for work at 6:30 for UPS just to do pick-ups for a few hours and most likely half the places will be closed. Hopefully they'll just call him tonight and say they aren't working tomorrow..they already declared a state of emergency and shut a lot of stuff down for tomorrow..so who knows.
