My open hand is simple - here are the rules. At least try to follow them.

I'd have no problem with him if he'd stop acting like this thread on this site belongs to him and a few others, so they should be able to make the rules. It doesn't, and no amount of stating so will make it so, the rules are SD's, not mine, not his.

Doesn't matter much here in The Lounge, but that attitude in Deal Talk is what killed that thread dead, and if he takes that attitude back outside The Lounge again, he'll just kill off other threads again. And I really have to wonder if he understands that, it seems not.

So I guess the next Marlboro contest will have to stay in The Lounge to avoid being shut down, and that's a shame, as a lot of good people never frequent The Lounge at all.

A lot of good people frequent the lounge and its fine with me if we do the next contest here. When its time to get down to bussiness its all about bussiness and the people here are very helpful no matter what someone needs

Get it straight. I did not close the thread. I modded it days before it was closed, it got closed for a few minutes. I never modded it again, others did. The mods closed the thread because of multiple reports, and I;m sure they got tired of cleaning out the OT posts (you DO realize they have to take time to manually remove them?).

The people ignoring the rules, even after being warned multiple times BY THE MODS, caused the thread to close.

IOW, they only have themselves to blame. And until they get that, it will just happen to them again.

Twist reality any way you want, it won't stop the fact that the OT abusers killed the thread.
