Story goes that this happened years ago......but the father is a judge and up for re-election...

Girl was 16 at the time, had CP and got caught downloading music or a video game.

See if you can watch the whole thing without wanting to kick this guys ass

This will DEF be on the news tomorrow in his town. I hope it goes national and he's never allowed to JUDGE others again. He obviously has terrible judgement as shown here.

This is nothing... When I was in my country, my uncle whipped me with a split bamboo stick. People in the west are too soft. Nothing wrong with this video.

Not really "beating". The judge/father was spanking and disciplining his child. Most Americans may not be cool with this nowadays. But, when I was growing up, this was normal. Americans are too soft nowadays. It's all about time outs and nurturing now. Hence, kids are walking all over their parents these days.

By the way, if this was my daughter and she did this to me, I'd disown her. Forget about her inheritance or any support/help from me from this point on! Of course, I'm assuming that the judge just spanked her occasionally just to discipline his kids.

That was pretty horrific. There is absolutely no reason to hit a child. Period.

Yes, that must be it....I'm uneducated!

As stated, I grew up with that kind of disciplining. Now, would I do that to my kid? Probably not. But to me, "beating" a child is just going off on him/her for no reason. Using a belt to discipline isn't "beating".

If you have to hit your child to discipline, you have failed as a parent. There are other ways to guide your child in life that do not include violence.

So, I guess my parents and all the Asian parents out there have failed....despite the fact that a lot of them have become good citizens who are educated and professionals. Confused

My uncle raised me when I was in one of those third world countries. Everyday when I went home and showed him my grades, if they were not at his expectations, I would get 10 farking kicks or bamboo whips whichever was available to him at the time of my punishment. That was being nice. Sometimes he just starved me if I didn't make his expectations. I dunno, but I would rather take a beating than to be starved to death for a day. My goodness, without that enormous fear of pain and agony, I don't think I will become what I am today. Fear is extremely efficient at guiding people in life - You guys probably know what i'm talking about (bad guys go to bad places and good guys go to good places) Smilie
