Until I read "Prius" I thought it might have been Michele Bachmann due to the word "lunatic".
Then I also remembered you said "woman", which meant it couldn't be Bachmann, because that would indicate that she's human.

You're here, talking to us and showing us pictures of her after the incident, so I have some idea of what I'm talking about.
A) Driving in oncoming traffic isn't safe. I know this. But once you are, the course of actions that gets you out of oncoming traffic as quickly as possible without crashing or causing anyone to crash is the safest way to resolve the situation. I didn't think I'd have to explain that one... B) Who knows if you actually needed to slow down or not. Based on the skills you've displayed here, you're probably one of those people that keeps 5+ second gaps and slams on the brakes at the mere sight of brake lights in front of you. Many people forget that in a situation like yours, she already has the speed advantage and thus you're not really in that bad of a situation.

Ever. Steve Gibson on password policies [grc.com]: I mean, I don't get this change it every eight weeks. ... It's not as if passwords are traveling by camel after they've been stolen, going to the bad guys, and so there's, like, some weird eight-week window, like, oh, we're going to change your password so that the stale password no longer works. ... And all this does is make IT people despised because users, who are not dumb, they think, why am I - why do I have to do this? What problem is this solving?

Or she could have hit the brakes, and waited it out in the middle of the intersection.
Much safer for everyone than nailing the gas. I own three cars, this lexus a camaro and a bronco. I'm not a wimpy driver. I fly planes, own a boat and a jetski. I'm a VERY GOOD operator of vehicles. None of them have been in accidents, ever. I'm done with this lounge bullshit with keyboard cowboys who think they know everything. Fark you buddy. |

Would that make you feel better?

You are the one who keeps changing the story and conveniently leaving out little tidbits. See my response above that you seemed to have skimmed over. Oh and before you think you are such a vehicle expert, you should probably buy better cars

How am I being a douchebag? facts: I SLOWED DOWN AND LET HER COME OVER. I DID NOT run the red light and harass her. I DID NOT speed to catch up to her I WAS going home - taking the same route she was. I saw her car WAY up ahead and without taking my eyes off the road launched my camera mode. I snapped a pic without even looking at the phone screen. I just aimed and pushed the take picture button. If anyone is a douchebag it's you and these other 2 people who like to make things up out of thin air. Get a life. |
