Yeah, two things:

A) Driving in oncoming traffic isn't safe. I know this. But once you are, the course of actions that gets you out of oncoming traffic as quickly as possible without crashing or causing anyone to crash is the safest way to resolve the situation. I didn't think I'd have to explain that one...

B) Who knows if you actually needed to slow down or not. Based on the skills you've displayed here, you're probably one of those people that keeps 5+ second gaps and slams on the brakes at the mere sight of brake lights in front of you. Many people forget that in a situation like yours, she already has the speed advantage and thus you're not really in that bad of a situation.

No genius. The best idea is not to sit and wait in oncoming traffic to get smashed into by a string of cars, sending you into the cars on your right. The best solution, since there was hardly any traffic was to speed up and get in front of you, which she executed without incident, save for you blowing the whole thing out of proportion.

oddly enough, in Oregon, all the signs say 'speed XX' rather than speed limit. in Oregon, the law is such that the officer has to prove your speed is unsafe. not that you can drive whatever you want and argue that its safe, but it is more involved than just going past a speed limit violation in other states.

Funny thing is that he happens to be an expert about this kind of matter, at least IMO. So I think that you would get the point when people are pointing out obvious flaws in your side of this supposed "event" that happened. Exactly. I went and read his entire series of his side of the story more than once and found a lot of holes, and even pointed it out, but he never acknowledged that either. Seriously, either he is trolling for the hell of it or there is something aloof. It scares me when there are people in this world with that much pent up anger and they are allowed to not only drive, but apparently fly planes and jet ski I am not safe by land, sea or air.
