I never had a diaper cake so I can't say personally, but I can say that I just made them for centerpieces for the shower I threw for a friend and she is planning on using them. I just rolled them and put those little rubber bands that they sell for little girl's ponytails around them. It would be very easy to snip the rubber bands, unroll them & use them, IMO. I only used size 1 diapers so she would know what size they were, figured if I used multiple sizes they would get mixed up and be difficult. Like I said, I never had a diaper cake, but I would for sure use them if someone made me one.

thanks... maybe i will just go to T and get all the same size... pampers are on sale for 8.99 and wyb 3 you get a $5 TGC... since i bought size 1, 2, and 3 for her. maybe i will just get some of the same to do it with...then decorate with all the johnson and johson stuffs. Baby

It is rare, but this week I wish my DD was in school! She is not making packing easy for me but she just had a major meltdown so maybe she got it out of her system! I have been able to find some summer camps in our new area of town for when I am unpacking but right now there is nothing. I am having friends watch her on closing day and moving day so those should run smoother. Any suggestions on a great computer game that would distract her for hours or days?? Smilie

Good luck! Grkids have their opening ceremony on Saturday and games start next week. Their practice tonight has been cancelled...We're in a flood watch since we've been just having buckets of rain dumped on us lately. Needless to say there was no outdoor Easter egg hunts yesterday. Kinda takes the fun out of it when you have to hunt indoors.Frown

Don't know if it would be a better deal or not, but there is a $3 Huggies printable out. I have two extras I could send you if you would use them. Actually I could probably print from a couple more printers here at work, so could send you more than that if you would use them and it would be a better deal for you. IDK the current price of diapers so can't tell ya if it would be better than the pamers T deal or not. If you want the printables just let me know.

You preggo mommas that have been stockpiling diapers - what is your stock-up price? I have a friend that just found out she is expecting and wants to start stockpiling. She was asking me what price she should use as her stock-up price and I didn't know. She is pretty straight and narrow so wouldn't be doing any deals that weren't 100% legit. Can anyone give me a suggestion to tell her? Obviously this is YMMV, but I was hoping I could get something to start with and then we could variate from there.

Found an old tripod while packing and she we gave her our old point and shoot digital awhile back so she is running around taking pictures. I just have to think of ways to keep her occupied even when I don't want to. Thank god she has school tomorrow so I can be alone!!!

Thanks for all of the kind words today...I was sleepy all day and I could have went grumpy easy, so your words kept me in check!

Now, if I can just get through supper...I'm making salmon on the george forman...not a fan of salmon at all, but we are trying to eat better...my house stinks and my guess is I will just have to gag it down! I need to find some other "good" things to eat! DH's dr told him to lose weight and eat better, so he is on board and my thoughts are it should be easier than the last time I was watching what I ate...but I can't get in the groove again!
