Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR
PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF
WINNING.

1. Eligibility: Gear Up. Boot Up. Rev Up. Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) is open
only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including District of Columbia)
who are at least eighteen (18) years old or older or the age of majority in their state
of residence, whichever is older at the time of entry. Employees and their immediate
families (parent, child, spouse or sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of
where they reside), and those living in their same households, whether or not
related, of Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. (“Sponsor”), Dell Marketing U.S.A. L.P., and their
respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, retail locations, and advertising and
promotion agencies; ePrize, LLC, General Motors LLC and its divisions, affiliates,
dealers, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective
affiliates along with the officers, directors, owners, members, agents and employees
of each of them, and companies involved in the implementation and execution of the
Promotion (and their respective parents) are not eligible to enter or win. The
Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations
and is void where prohibited. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and
unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s and Administrator’s
decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion.
Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. The
Promotion consists of a sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) and an instant win game
(the “Instant Win Game”).
2. Sponsor: Bed Bath & Beyond Inc., 110 Bi-County Boulevard, Farmingdale, NY
11735. Administrator: ePrize, LLC, One ePrize Drive, Pleasant Ridge, MI 48069.
3. Timing: The Promotion begins on July 6, 2011 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET")
and ends on September 6, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the "Promotion Period"). For
purposes of this Promotion, a day begins at 12:00 a.m. ET and ends at 11:59 p.m.
ET during the calendar day. Administrator’s computer is the official time keeping
device for this Promotion.
4. How to Enter:
a. Promotion Websites: During the Promotion Period, visit
www.bedbathandbeyond.com, www.delluniversity.com, or
www.chevrolet.com/experience; or follow the promotion link instructions
found within any Bed Bath & Beyond, Dell, or Chevrolet electronic
communication. Complete and submit the registration form including a valid
home address. P.O. Boxes are not permitted.
b. Facebook Applications: During the Promotion Period, you can enter the
Promotion through the Gear Up. Boot Up. Rev Up. Sweepstakes
application on the Facebook Platform. You can also find the application on the
Gear Up. Boot Up. Rev Up. Sweepstakes tab on either the Bed Bath &
Beyond, Facebook.com/campusandbeyond, or Dell University, fan Pages on

Facebook. Click on the "like" button, and you will advance to the authorization
page where you will be required to authorize the application to pull your
profile information and other content in order to participate in the Promotion.
Complete and submit the registration form including a valid home
address. P.O. Boxes are not permitted.
After you have completed the registration form, you will advance to the
Instant Win Game page. Once on the Instant Win Game page, follow the
links and instructions to play the Instant Win Game. You may play the
Instant Win Game up to two (2) plays per day. Each time you play the
Instant Win Game, the results will be instantly displayed and then you
automatically will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes, up to two (2)
entries per day. Potential winners of the Instant Win Game will be provided
directions for validation. All potential winners are subject to verification
before any prize will be awarded. Administrator is responsible for the
functionality of the Instant Win Game.
c. Mail-in Alternate Method (For Sweepstakes Only): To enter the
Sweepstakes without online access, hand print your name, address, day and
evening phone numbers, email address (if any), and age on a 3" x 5" piece of
paper and mail it with proper postage to “Gear Up. Boot Up. Rev Up.
Sweepstakes,” c/o Dept. #574202, P.O. Box 5046 Kalamazoo MI 49003. You
will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Limit: One (1) entry per
envelope, up to two (2) entries per day during the Promotion Period. All mailin
entries must be handwritten. All mail-in entries must be postmarked by
September 6, 2011 and received by September 13, 2011. All entries become
the exclusive property of Sponsor, and none will be acknowledged or
returned. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of
receipt by Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete,
invalid, unintelligible, illegible, damaged, misdirected or postage-due entries,
which will be disqualified.
d. Twitter: After you have registered for the Sweepstakes, through any of the
Promotion websites or Facebook applications listed in sections 4a and 4b
above, a Twitter sharing icon will be displayed on the screen. Entrants that
have a Twitter account may receive ten (10) additional Sweepstakes entries
during the Promotion Period for retweeting the Sweepstakes message (in its
original form) through your Twitter newsfeed. Once you click the Twitter
sharing icon, you automatically will receive ten (10) entries into the
Sweepstakes. You may only use the Twitter sharing icon one (1) time during
the Promotion Period.
If you do not have a Twitter account, then visit www.twitter.com to create one. A
Twitter account is free. Twitter’s Terms of Service (http://twitter.com/tos) apply. You
must be an active holder of a non-private Twitter account to obtain bonus entries in
this Sweepstakes. Tweets may not be indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious,
defamatory, or libelous or contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights,
or disparage Sponsor, Administrator or any other person or party affiliated with the
Sweepstakes, or contain material that is unlawful in any way. Sponsor reserves the
right to remove any Tweets that it finds unlawful, or otherwise in violation of these
Official Rules, all in its sole discretion.
If you post updates to or receive updates from twitter.com via from your wireless

phone, message and data rates may apply. Please consult your wireless-service
provider regarding its pricing plans. All terms and conditions of Twitter.com apply.
e. Tell-A-Friend Program: After you enter the Promotion through any of
the Promotion websites listed above in section 4a, you will be invited to
submit the names and email addresses of up to three (3) friends who
must be eligible to enter the Promotion. Each person that you refer will
receive an email notifying him or her about the Promotion. You may only
refer persons with whom you have an existing relationship. For each
friend with a unique, valid email address that you refer, you will be given
ten (10) additional entries into the Sweepstakes, up to a total of thirty
(30) additional entries per day during the Promotion Period. If you
participate in the Tell-A-Friend Program, you may only refer any individual
and/or email address ONCE during the entire Promotion Period.
Limit: Through the Promotion websites and the Facebook applications, each entrant
may enter the Sweepstakes and play the Instant Win Game two (2) times per day
during the Promotion Period. In addition, entrants may earn an additional thirty (30)
Sweepstakes entries per day through the Tell-A-Friend Program through the
Promotion websites, and ten (10) Sweepstakes entries total during the Promotion
Period by retweeting the Sweepstakes message. Multiple entrants are not permitted
to share the same email address or Twitter account. Any attempt by any entrant to
obtain more than the stated number of plays/entries by using multiple/different
email addresses, Twitter accounts, identities, registrations and logins, or any other
methods will void that entrant's plays/entries and that entrant may be disqualified.
Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in
disqualification. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid,
unintelligible or misdirected registrations, which will be disqualified. In the event of
a dispute as to any registration or play, the authorized account holder of the email
address used to register will be deemed to be the entrant or player. The “authorized
account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet
access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for
assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address.
Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account
holder.
5. Sweepstakes/Instant Win Game: Administrator is an independent judging
organization whose decisions as to the administration and operation of the Promotion
and the selection of potential winners are final and binding in all matters related to
the Promotion. Sweepstakes: Administrator will randomly select the potential
Sweepstakes winner, from all eligible entries on or around September 15, 2011.
Instant Win Game: One Thousand Five Hundred Twelve (1,512) random, computergenerated
winning times, one (1) per hour, will be generated during the Promotion
Period. If you are the first player to play the Instant Win Game at or after one of the
randomly generated times, you will be a potential instant winner of the prize
indicated.
6. ALL POTENTIAL WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR
OR ADMINISTRATOR, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL
MATTERS RELATED TO THE PROMOTION. AN ENTRANT IS NOT A WINNER
OF ANY PRIZE, EVEN IF THE INSTANT WIN GAME OR SWEEPSTAKES
SHOULD SO INDICATE, UNLESS AND UNTIL ENTRANT’S ELIGIBILITY, AND
THE POTENTIAL INSTANT WIN GAME WINNER AND/OR SWEEPSTAKES
WINNER HAVE BEEN VERIFIED AND ENTRANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT

VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE. SPONSOR WILL NOT ACCEPT SCREEN SHOTS
OR OTHER EVIDENCE OF WINNING IN LIEU OF ITS VALIDATION PROCESS.
ANY PLAY THAT OCCURS AFTER THE SYSTEM HAS FAILED FOR ANY REASON
IS DEEMED A DEFECTIVE PLAY AND IS VOID AND WILL NOT BE HONORED.
7. Verification of Potential Winners: Receiving a prize is contingent upon
compliance with these Official Rules. The potential Sweepstakes winners will be
notified by mail, email or phone. Each potential Grand, First and Second Prize winner
(parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor in his/her state of residence) will be
required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release
(except where prohibited), which must be received by Sponsor/Administrator within
ten (10) days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, in order to claim his/her
prize. If a potential winner of any prize cannot be contacted, or fails to sign and
return the Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release within the required
time period (if applicable), or prize is returned as undeliverable, potential winner
forfeits the prize. In the event that a potential winner of the Grand through Third
Prize is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an
alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries.
There will be three (3) alternate drawings after which the applicable prize will remain
un-awarded. Unclaimed Fourth Prizes will not be awarded. The Grand Prize winner
will be contacted regarding the fulfillment of the prize within 8-10 weeks of the
conclusion of the Sweepstakes and the prize will be fulfilled by the designated
dealership as soon as it becomes available. First through Fourth Prizes will be
fulfilled approximately 8-10 weeks after the conclusion of the Promotion.
8. Prizes:
Sweepstakes Prizes: ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: One (1) 2012 Chevrolet Cruze LTZ,
one (1) 2012 Chevrolet Equinox LTZ, two (2) $5,000 Bed Bath & Beyond® Gift
Cards, $15,000 in the form of a check, two (2) Dell™ 15” XPS™ laptop computers,
two (2) Dell™ 1350cnw color laser printers with extra toner, two (2) Streak™ 7 Wi-
Fi™ Android™ tablets, two (2) Dell Ultra-sharp™ U2410 24" inch monitors, two (2)
laptop bags, two (2) wireless keyboards, two (2) wireless mice and two (2) Xbox 360
4GB Consoles. Winner has the option of customizing all features for the 2012
Chevrolet model vehicles listed above, including but not limited to color of exterior
and interior, and all other features or upgrades, as long as the approximate retail
value ("ARV") does not exceed $60,000 for both vehicles collectively. Winner is
responsible for all costs associated with any available upgrade/option which exceeds
collective ARV and any other expenses related to the acceptance and use of the prize
not specified. Winner is responsible for vehicle registration, license, tax, title and
insurance fees for BOTH vehicles. Winner must take delivery of the vehicles within
thirty (30) days of notice of availability from Sponsor-selected dealer or prize may be
forfeited. Winner must a have valid U.S. driver’s license and proof of insurance to
take delivery. Vehicle awarded may differ from any vehicle shown in promotional
materials. ARV: $91,050. THREE (3) FIRST PRIZES: A $1,000 Bed Bath & Beyond®
Gift Card and one (1) Dell™ Alienware™ M11X gaming laptop. ARV: $2,000. TEN
(10) SECOND PRIZES: A $500 Bed Bath & Beyond® Gift Card and one (1) Dell
Inspiron™ duo convertible tablet (Flash-capable). ARV: $1,049.99. Odds of winning a
Sweepstakes Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the
Promotion Period. Limit: One (1) Sweepstakes prize per person.
Instant Win Game Prizes: THIRTY (30) THIRD PRIZES: One (1) Dell™ V715w Allin-
One Wireless printer. ARV: $190. ONE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY TWO

(1,482) FOURTH PRIZES: A $25 Bed Bath & Beyond® Gift Card. ARV: $25. Odds of
winning an Instant Win Game prize depend on the number of eligible Instant Win
Game plays divided by the number of prizes available. Limit: One (1) Instant Win
Game prize per person.
For All Prizes: Terms and conditions of gift cards apply. The ARV of electronic prizes
is subject to price fluctuations in the consumer marketplace based on, among other
things, any gap in time between the date the ARV is estimated for purposes of these
Official Rules and the date the prize is awarded or redeemed. No cash equivalent and
all prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided
herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a
prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become
unavailable for any reason. Winners are responsible for all taxes and fees associated
with prize receipt and/or use. TOTAL ARV OF ALL PRIZES: $150,299.90
9. Release: By receipt of any prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless
Sponsor, Dell Marketing U.S.A. L.P., General Motors LLC, Facebook, Inc., ePrize, LLC,
and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors,
advertising/promotion agencies and each of their respective parent companies and
each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the
“Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not
limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of
participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.
10. Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Promotion constitutes
winner’s consent to Sponsor, Dell Marketing U.S.A. L.P., and General Motors LLC and
their respective agents’ use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions
and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide,
without further payment or consideration.
11. General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or
modify the Promotion, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other
factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper
functioning of the Sweepstakes or Instant Win Game, as determined by Sponsor in
its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prizes at
random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds
to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or
Instant Win Game or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules of this or any other
promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any
person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes or the
Instant Win Game may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an
attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person
to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these
Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
12. Limitations of Liability: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any
incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by
any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion;
(2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions,
interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3)
unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion;
(4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion

or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property
which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s
participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any
reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or
otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the
Sweepstakes, if it is possible. If the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, is discontinued
for any reason, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing
from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or
all of the prizes offered herein. No more than the stated number of prizes will be
awarded. In the event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other
reasons cause more than stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules
to be available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award only the stated
number of prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate, un-awarded, eligible
prize claims.
13. Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all
disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion
or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of
class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the Eastern
District of Michigan (Southern Division) or the appropriate Michigan State Court
located in Oakland County, Michigan; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards
shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with
entering this Promotion, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no
circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby
waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages
and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and
all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and
questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of
these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in
connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance
with, the laws of the State of Michigan, without giving effect to any choice of law or
conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Michigan or any other jurisdiction),
which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State
of Michigan.
14. Entrant's Personal Information: Information collected from entrants is
subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy

posted after winner confirmation is complete.
16. Name Removal Notification System: If you would like your name removed
from Sponsor’s mailing list, please write to: Bed Bath & Beyond Inc., Attn: Marketing
–No Snail Mail, 110 Bi-County Boulevard, Farmingdale, NY 11735 and your name will
be removed.
