Contest starts at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time ("PT") on September 9, 2011 and ends on September 30, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. PT (the "Contest Period"). The Online Scavenger Hunt begins on September 30, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. PT and ends on September 30, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
You are enrolled as a student at one of the college campuses listed in Schedule A attached hereto (as amended by Red Bull from time to time in Red Bull's sole discretion), and you are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry
What's the Contest?
This is a two-part skills-based, scavenger hunt Contest.
The Search for 4 Packs of Red Bull Energy Drink
The object of the first portion of the Contest (the "Search for 4 Packs") is to find 4 Packs of Red Bull Energy Drink (each, a "Stash") that are hidden at the college campuses listed in Schedule A with the help of clues posted on our website located at www.redbullstas
The Online Scavenger Hunt
The second portion of the Contest involves an online scavenger hunt through various websites located on the Internet (the "Online Scavenger Hunt"). The eligible contestant that first successfully completes the Online Scavenger Hunt will win the Grand Prize, which consists of a one-of-a-kind skydiving experience with the Red Bull Air Force, together with round-trip airfare for two (2) to Los Angeles, California and one (1) hotel room for up to two (2) nights, as described in more detail in Section 5, all as determined by Red Bull in its sole discretion.
Questions About the Search for 4 Packs
What if someone retrieves the Stash before me?
In the event that you solve a clue and discover that a particular Stash has already been retrieved, you can still qualify for the Online Scavenger Hunt by entering a unique code (a "Location Code") that will be contained on a sticker left at the location of each Stash. If you find this sticker, enter the Location Code at the Red Bull Stash Site and you can compete for the Grand Prize.
What's an eligible code?
An eligible code is the unique code found on either: (a) each Stash of Red Bull 4 Packs or (b) contained on a sticker left at the location of an already retrieved Stash. You will need an eligible code in order to qualify for the Online Scavenger Hunt.
How do you submit your code?
To submit your code: (a) go to the Red Bull Stash Site and follow the instructions online; OR (b) you can text your code to 22854.
What is/are the prize(s)?
Each prize in the Search for 4 Packs segment of the Contest is the Stash of Red Bull Energy Drink found during the Contest. There are approximately 34,000 Stashes available for entrants to retrieve across the college campuses listed in Schedule A. In addition, if you successfully retrieve a Stash and enter your Stash's code on the Red Bull Stash Site you will qualify to compete for the Grand Prize by participating in the Online Scavenger Hunt to win the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize is a one-of-a-kind skydiving experience for the winner and his/her guest with the Red Bull Air Force, as determined by Red Bull in its sole discretion. The Grand Prize also consists of two (2) round-trip coach class airfare for the winner and his/her guest between a major airport nearest to the winner's home and a major airport in Los Angeles, California as determined by Sponsor in its discretion, and standard double-occupancy hotel accommodations for the winner for up to two (2) nights in a hotel selected by Sponsor (room rate and taxes only). Sponsor reserves the right to substitute train or other ground transportation in the event winner's home is 200 miles or less from destination. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight or other mode of transportation. All expenses and costs associated with the acceptance or use of the prize that are not expressly specified in these Rules as being part of the prize, including without limitation, spending money, meals, hotel services and amenities, additional room charges, souvenirs, gratuities, flight or travel insurance, taxes, any upgrades or additional nights and all other ancillary costs, are the responsibility solely of the winner. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. The winner may be required to present credit card at time of hotel and/or flight check-in.
The total Estimated Retail Value ("ERV") of all prizes is $224,660.00. The ERV of each of the 34,000 Stashes is approximately $6.49 and the ERV of the Grand prize is approximately $4,000.
