open to legal residents who are physically residing in one of the 48 contiguous United States or the District of Columbia
Limit: one (1) entry per person/e-mail address per day
To enter, you must do the following:
(1) Watch at least three (3) episodes of THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW (the "Show") during the Entry Period. Each day a trivia question based on the TWILIGHT book and motion picture franchise will be posed during that show's broadcast. Following the broadcast of the Show during each day of the Entry Period (for the Show broadcast on October 28 and November 4, 2011 you may enter either on that Friday or the immediately following Saturday or Sunday; all entries received which are based on the trivia question posed on the November 11, 2011 Show broadcast must be received by 11:59:59 P.M. on November 11, 2011) go to ellentv.com (the "Web Site"). You will be brought to a web page that contains the registration form where you will be prompted to enter the following information: your name, address (P.O. boxes not accepted), telephone number (with area code), alternate telephone number, if any (with area code), and date of birth.
(2) On that same Web Site page you will find the TWILIGHT trivia question posed in the Show's episode broadcast on the date of your entry into the Contest and at least three possible answers to the question. Choose one of those possible answers which you believe correctly answers the question. During the Entry Period, watch two (2) additional episodes of the Show and complete a Contest entry form for each of those two additional broadcasts including choosing and answer for each day's TWILIGHT trivia question posed during that day's Show broadcast.
(3) You will also be required to submit an essay (limit: 150 words) explaining why you are the biggest TWILIGHT fan (the "Essay"). If you correctly answered all three TWILIGHT trivia questions, your name will be automatically entered into a random drawing for that week's Prize (defined below) from among all other eligible entries received. Each Essay must be original to the entrant and must not have been entered in any other competition or contest. By entering an Essay, each entrant represents and warrants that the entrant's Essay does not violate the rights (common law, statutory or otherwise) of any person or entity. The Essay may not be offensive or defamatory, as determined by Sponsor. Each entrant hereby assigns to Sponsor any and all rights entrant may possess (including, without limitation, the copyright) in and to the entrant's Essay.
One (1) Prize will be awarded to one (1) winner.
The Prize will consist of the following: (a) Roundtrip coach class airfare for winner and one (1) guest from a major U.S. airport near the Grand Prize winner's home as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion to Los Angeles, California departing either November 12, 2011 or November 13, 2011 (as agreed to by Sponsor and Contest winner) and returning November 15, 2011, hotel accommodations for two (double occupancy) in Los Angeles, ground transportation in Los Angeles to and from the airport and to and from the hotel and studio. Total ARV of the Prize: $5,000.00.
