12 Days is over, but the giveaways are still coming! Monday is the start of my Winner Wonderland contest, so make sure you watch my show every day for a chance to win every gift from my 12 Days of Giveaways. You'll be set for holiday presents through 2022.
Watch Ellen Monday, December 19th through Monday, January 2nd for a secret word -- and enter it here. You could be a winner!
Limit: one (1) entry per person/e-mail address per day per Show episode (as hereinafter defined) during each day of the Entry Period.
Entrants must be available for a telephone call from a producer of the ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW (the "Show") during the week of January 3, 2011. Any eligible entrant who is not available during the week of January 3, 2011 for a telephone interview will be disqualified.
HOW TO ENTER:
To enter the Contest, watch at least three (3) episodes of The Ellen DeGeneres Show (the "Show") which are broadcast during the Entry Period (check local listings for time of broadcast; eleven Show episodes will be broadcast during the Entry Period). Each Show episode broadcast during eh Entry Period will include an on-screen secret word at some point during the broadcast as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Following the broadcast of each Show that you watch during the Entry Period, go to www.ellentv.com (the "Web Site"). For Shows that are broadcast on Fridays during the Entry Period you may submit an entry for that Friday episode of the Show either on that same Friday, the immediately following Saturday or the immediately following Sunday but no more than one entry for that Friday episode may be submitted). After entering the Web Site, you will be brought to a web page that requires you to o the following:
1. Answer a question about the secret word incorporated into that day's Show episode of the Show (or if you are submitting an entry on a Saturday or Sunday during the Entry Period the question will concern the episode of the Show broadcast on the previous Friday);
2. Complete the Contest registration form by entering the following information: your name, address (P.O. boxes not accepted), telephone number (with area code), alternate telephone number, if any (with area code), e-mail address; and date of birth. You must also indicate that you have read and accept the Official Rules for this Contest; and
3. Submit an essay of no more than 100 words (the "Essay") explaining why you should with the Prize (as defined below).
If you correctly answered at least three (3) of the Show questions during the Entry Period, you will be automatically entered into the Contest.
WINNERS/PRIZE:
The Essays will be judged using the following judging criteria: (i) entrant's expressed need for the Prizes (33 1/3%); (ii) the inspirational attitude exhibited by the entrant in the Essay (33 1/3%); and (iii) entrant's creativity in expressing himself/herself (33 1/3%). In the event of a tie, the potential winner will be the person with the highest creativity score. In the event there is still a tie, the potential winner with the highest inspirational attitude score will be the winner.
The Prize (as defined below) will be awarded to one (1) winner.
