I got an invitation by mail last week from bank of america credit card to activate 5% reward on Gas, Restaurants, Pharmacy & Restaurant purchases between Jan 1 2012 to 31 March 2012.

The mail had a targeted registration code to activate the cashback.

Not sure this is the correct section to post this -This is just a reminder for BankAmericard holders to check your snail mails for this offer.

I did a search and could not find this posted before.

Feel free to TU or TD depending on how useful you find this information.

BofA seems to have different offers for their credit cards. Last week I got an invitation w/ special personalized code to activate 5x bonus on up to $500 in spending. I'm on a points based rewards card through BofA, but it is basically on everything up to $500 that will earn the bonus points which should be easy w/ SD Big Grin

If, like me, you didn't get this targeted offer, you can still get 5% cash back at gas stations using the PenFed VISA Platinum Gas / Cash Rewards Card and 5% rewards at restaurants (toward gift cards) using the Citi Forward® Card.

From what I'm reading, you get 5 points for every dollar spent at restaurants, and this only equates to 5 percent if you redeem your points for certain gift cards, correct? How long are the gift cards good for?

About two weeks ago, I got an offer for triple points on everything travel related. Planes train and (rental) automobiles, through the end of March. Works perfect since I should be booking a ticket soon enough.
