Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

i just want to remind everyone that using the funny farm thread to solicit for votes is not permitted....at all. it isn't allowed anywhere on this site including the lounge.
if there are any posts soliciting for votes, please mod alert and they will be dealt with accordingly.
most of you know the rules and some choose to ignore it. if this becomes a constant problem, i will have no choice but to close this thread until the contest is over.

I've been thinking about the C thing and am absolutely certain that the finalists were just ramdomly picked. No disrespect intended to anyone! A) None of ours were particularly special. There were many more that were more deserved or altruistic. B) You know they'd be familiar w/a contest that required research about a year ago which makes me believe mine was never read. I think the important thing to remember for future rounds is to be in the top 198. Thoughts on this?
