Open only to U.S. residents 21 years of age or older; void in California, Utah, and where prohibited or restricted by law, regulation, rule or otherwise.
Contest begins at 10:00 a.m. EST, February 13, 2012 and ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on March 9, 2012.
Limit of one (1) entry per person/day.
Access BACARDI Rum's Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other social media accounts during the Promotion Period for unique clues about important events in BACARDI Rum's history. During each of the four (4) phases of the Promotion Period, "clues" about BACARDI Rum's history will be released and posted on one or more of the following official BACARDI media sites: www.bacardi.com, Facebook on the BACARDI Rum Wall, Twitter at a Tweet labeled #bacardi150, and www.youtube.com/BACARDI. Following the clues will lead entrants through a series of steps necessary to provide the right answer to questions posted on BACARDI Rum's Facebook page regarding important events relevant to BACARDI Rum's history, like BACARDI Rum's origin, Prohibition, company legends, drinking responsibly, etc. New clues will be posted during each Promotion phase and remain posted until 9:59AM EST until the end of the Promotion phase in which they were posted. When you have the answer to each phase's BACARDI 150th Celebration question, return to BACARDI Rum's Facebook page and submit your answer. There will be a new question posted during each of the four (4) phases of the Promotion Period ("Promotion Phase" or "Phase"):
Legends: February 13, 2012, 10:00AM EST to February 20, 2012, 9:59AM EST.
Prohibition: February 20, 2012, 10:00AM EST to February 27, 2012, 9:59AM EST.
Cocktails: February, 27, 2012, 10:00AM EST to March 5, 2012, 9:59AM EST.
Legacy: March 5, 2012, 10:00AM EST to March 12, 2012, 9:59AM EST.
The Contest consists of four (4) different entry pools, one for each Promotion Phase. One entry per person, per day during each Promotion Phase is permitted. All entrants who submit a correct answer during each Promotion Phase will be entered into a random drawing.
GRAND PRIZES:Each Grand Prize Winner selected will receive a one (1) BACARDI Limited Edition T-Shirt (adult size), approximate retail value $4.50. Five Thousand (5,000) Grand Prizes will be awarded during each applicable Promotion Phase. A total of Twenty Thousand (20,000) Grand Prizes will be awarded for all four (4) Promotion Phases.
Total estimated retail value of all Grand Prizes - $90,000.00.
