my best friend's "grandpa" for the last 20+ years passed away today. i'm upset about him, but i'm more upset about grandma. having been together for over 20yrs, it's only a matter of time...
...and it's making me more upset than i thought it would.

I'm worn out. Last night I continued cleaning out the equipment closet in the media room. This morning I finished it. I hauled out five crates worth of junk/trash I really just didn't need anymore. Pretty soon, I'll be able to toss out the plastic crates, too!

ARRRRRRRGHHHHH!!!!!! The EAC (Exact Audio Copy) program I just used to rip a bunch of CDs was not set correctly. Now I've got a bunch of WAV files when I was wanting MP3s. Fark, fark, fark.

 Sorry, frog.... I feel the same way when I convert TS files to mkv files and the audio is a half second off because I used the wrong settings.....and then i delete the TS files to save space without checking the mkv files.

A quick way to compress them would be to use LameDropXPd [rarewares.org]. Basically, it's a very simple GUI where you drag and drop a WAV file and it spits out the MP3 file.  .
