need advice - best way to get money from Amazon gift card balance

I've saved up over $400 in my PayPal account.
I also have almost $150.00 in my Amazon gift card balance.
I'm trying to save up for an iPad, and they're much more expensive on Amazon than they are at Apple (I can get the one I want for about $600 at Apple, and the same model with the same configuration costs over $700 on Amazon)
What is the best way to get money from my Amazon Gift Card balance?
I'm thinking along the lines of purchasing something at Amazon and reselling it on eBay.
Any ideas?

not sure I understand -
I have a swagbucks account, and that's a way I use to GET Amazon gift cards.
I don't need money in my Amazon acct, I need cash/paypal funds

If I can buy something at Amazon that I could sell on eBay, I would get money from the sale into my PayPal account.

Any ideas on that?

The cards are already in his account. One thing you could try, which might get you banned from amazon, is to open another account and list an item then pay for that item with your first account using the gift cards. Of course there are fees, but that is the best I could think of.

OP was asking what to get at AMAZON to sell on eBay. I suggest selling Amazon gift cards. Smaller amounts often sell for more than face value, which would help offset fees.

Hi, y'all,

I asked what I could do with a $150 balance in my Amazon Gift Card account - like purchase something and sell it on eBay. I needed money in my PayPal account.

Just thought I'd let you know what I decided to do.

There's someone on eBay who just sold 4 Kindle Touches for $104 Buy It Now + $15 shipping (which is CRAZY, since the same model sells for $99 at Amazon, with free SS shipping)

Anyway, it's a small item and can be shipped relatively inexpensively by Priority Mail.

I also purchased a $15 US power adapter (not included with Kindle Touch) for $10 and a $30 Kindle zip sleeve for $25.
People love to have accessories included (and these two are the most desired)
Total investment, $134.
I think I'll be able to recoup most of that, even with fees.

Just thought I'd let all y'all know, and thanks for all your input!

Pretty good offer!
Not sure how much the shipping would have been.
I have it on eBay right now, starting at $99.95, with BIN $159.95 (free ship).
Who knows!?!?

What I CANNOT understand is people who pay $130-$150 (incl S/H) for one with NO accessories.Scratchhead

OK, I'm impressed -
how in the world did you get an
"iPad 3 64GB Wifi Edition" ($400)????
That baby sells for $700 at Apple.

yeah if you get more money thru those kindles then go for it. I just did not know if you wanted to go thru the hassle of buying and selling and dealing with fees and buyers but its cool. wave

I got those iPad 3's for $400 since it was price mistake. it was orginally supposed to be a iPad ONE 64gb but the website listed iPad 3 so I bought 5 for $2000, sold 3 at $650 online.

People buy stuff on eBay at prices above MSRP because they're saddled with eBay Bucks and need to spend them before they expire. It's the same reason why people buy GCs for Amazon and other retailers for far greater than their face value.
