only open to permanent legal residents of the fifty (50) states of the U.S. and the District of Columbia ("D.C."), who are physically located and residing therein (excluding Guam, Puerto Rico and all other U.S. and foreign territories and possessions), who are 18 years of age or older
begins at 9:00:00 a.m. PT on March 2, 2012 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. PT on April 20, 2012
consists of seven (7) separate individual weekly Contests
Each Weekly Contest begins on a Friday at 9:00:00 a.m. PT and ends at 9:00:00 a.m. PT the following Friday ("Weekly Entry Period")
access the Website and click the Treasure Hunt Contest tab where you will be provided with a clue that will lead you to find five (5) hidden clues ("Clues") located on www.space.com ("Website"). Once you have successfully located the five (5) Clues you must return to the Facebook Site.
Prizes/Odds of Winning: Seven (7) Weekly Contest First Prizes: The first contestant to successfully submit the respective Clues for each Weekly Contest Period will receive one (1) Orion AstroView 6 Equatorial Reflector Telescope (Approximate Retail Value ["ARV"]: $429.99).
Three (3) Bonus Prizes: The first contestant to successfully submit the final Clue for the Bonus Contest Period will receive one (1) Apple iPad 2 - 32GB (ARV: $599.00.
The next two (2) contestant to successfully submit the final Clue for the Bonus Contest Period will receive one (1) Orion AstroView 6 Equatorial Reflector Telescope (ARV: $429.99).
One hundred and twelve (112) Weekly Contest Second Prizes : The sixteen (16) subsequent contestants who successfully submit the respective Clues for each Weekly Contest Period will receive one of the following: one (1) Space.com T-Shirt (ARV: $8.00); OR one (1) Space.com USB Drive (ARV: $5.98); Actual prize awarded to each Weekly Contest Second Prize winner at Sponsor's sole discretion.
Total ARV of all prizes: $5,322.91.
Limit one (1) Weekly Contest First Prize per person/family/household for the entire Contest Period.
