I think she's tired of telling you poor baby and kissing your boo boos when you burn yourself cooking naked.

Well you're still alive which likely means you didn't try to PIITB.

That's your inclination, not mine. I'll take the muffin, thanks.

And sorry for your experience having to load up the hearse. Or horse, ( hurse? ) whichever you meant.

In what way does it do this? Please tell me you're engaging in hyperbole.

I'm just pissed that it's now legal to for the gov't to force you do something and or tax you for not doing so. I can now be taxed for not doing something. Where is that going to lead? If it's now illegal for me to not buy health insurance, is it then going to be illegal for me to not buy a green car or not have at least 1 solar panel on my house? If health insurance costs get too high for the gov't (as if they already aren't), will it then be illegal for me to not buy a gym membership so that I don't increase the costs of coverage?

Isn't the ruling based on that already being legal?

Yeah....it's being upheld, but not as it was. They said that the individual mandate is illegal under the commerce clause, but it is legal for the gov't to tax you for not buying something. That's what they are saying. So instead of dealing with the justice dept you would have to deal with the treasury dept if you don't buy health insurance.

Beck had a great idea today.

Since insurance is now a 'right' you can be taxed for not getting insurance, then when Romney is elected he should mandate that everyone buy a gun and tax you if you don't get one. Makes perfect sense (to a Liberal).

Unfortunately it works both ways, and that will just make it a pissing contest on who can "tax" their symbol of partisanship.

Here's another problem I have though.....if healthcare is a right, aren't you violating someone else's right to freedom if they have knowledge of medicine. What happens at this point if a doctor's office doesn't take the type of insurance someone has? Can that doctor now be sued for denying the patient a right to healthcare?
