Most are sealed up inside of the tree. The rest will be shot out of the lawn mower this weekend.
My bride was out of town the weekend which means that I had all four kids. DS1 is 11 and usually gets up by himself around 6am. He and the other two boys (3 and 2) sleep upstairs. The master and the 4th bedroom are on the main level with my bride and I in the master and my daughter (also 3) in the other bedroom which is next to ours.
At 5:04am on Sunday morning, I woke to someone walking down stairs and noticed a light coming in our room. This is because we enter our room through an office, and the office door is glass paned. I jumped out of bed, grabbed a personal defense device and went to the archway where I could see more of what was going on through the door. After not seeing or hearing anything else I looked at the clock, saw the time, and figured my oldest son had gotten up earlier than normal. I went to the restroom, came out, noticed the light was now off, thought nothing of it, and went back to bed.
I didn't say anything or bring it up until the Queen got home that night, and I was recapping the days with the kids. I included that the oldest was so good and such a help that he got an early start on the day by getting up at 5am. Then he told me he wasn't up until 7am.
So that leaves the question of who was walking around and turned a light on? Nothing was taken. The chain lock was not locked in the morning, but I did lock it before going to bed. It wouldn't take long to find our spare key which was hidden in the grill, and I have since removed it.
