Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

Years and years ago when my oldest sister was engaged she had a huge fight with her fiance' and took the ring off and whipped it towards the driveway in the middle of winter out in the country and damn if in the spring when the snow melted they didn't find it just sitting there in that old country drive way. Another needle in the haystack.

I got two Westinghouse bug whackers in the mail this week that I won in the weekly Deerso giveaway. Also a bottle of Mio Lemonade and some VitaCraves Gummies. And in two days I finally won twice on the hump IWG!
About six weeks ago we had to move things out of our safe deposit box, because they closed the bank branch in the small town closest to us. My old wedding ring, a half carat solitaire diamond, has been in that bank box for 26 years. When I emptied everything from the safe deposit box into a cardboard box, I put the ring on my finger, thinking that would be the safest place for it. I wore it for about two weeks, without really looking at it.
On one of my days off, after a lot of housework and cooking, I sat down to eat dinner, and noticed the diamond was gone. I was just shocked and sick and truly POed at myself! I looked at the ring with my jeweler's loop, it was easy to see that two of the prongs were gone. The next day when hubby got home, he took apart the drain of the kitchen sink. No diamond. No vacuuming. How do you look for a missing diamond in a house with wood heat and a big yellow dog? I finally stopped kicking myself, and gave up looking. I figured it went down the drain, just like my marriage.
Because I've been so sick, my housework has not been up to par. I decided to go into town yesterday, and grabbed some silver earrings that needed polishing. I bent down to get a rag out of a basket under a cabinet, and OMG, there was this shiny, tiny object on the floor, my missing diamond! I still can't believe the luck of it, I found my birthstone!
