Sweepstakes begins on April 23, 2012 at 12:00:01 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time ("PDT") and ends on May 17, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. PDT.
Open to legal residents of and currently residing within, the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry.
Must "Like" the TrueCar Facebook page, enter through the TrueCar Racing VIP Sweepstakes tab - https://www.facebook.co
LIMIT: One (1) entry per person and per email address per day, except as provided in Section 4, below.
During the Sweepstakes Period, enter daily via the online method specified above. Then, using the Refer a Friend Feature, you can receive one (1) additional entry for each Facebook friend that you invite to the Sweepstakes who subsequently enters the Sweepstakes. LIMIT: Maximum ten (10) additional entries per person and per email address are allowed through the Refer a Friend Feature during the Sweepstakes Period.
One potential (1) winner will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received as of each Entry Period (see below). Entries received during an Entry Period will roll-over into subsequent Entry Period drawings.
First Prizes (4): Each winner will receive one (1) TrueCar Racing helmet autographed by TrueCar Racing team members. ARV: $500.00 each.
Grand Prize (1): Winner will receive a 3-day/2-night trip for two (winner and guest) to one (1) of the following race locations (applicable dates included):
- Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Speedway, IN (May 25, 2012 – May 27, 2012)
- Streets of Belle Isle, Detroit, MI (June 1, 2012 – June 3, 2012)
- Texas Motor Speedway, Fort Worth, TX (June 7, 2012 – June 9, 2012)
- Infineon Raceway, Sonoma, CA (August 24, 2012 – August 26, 2012)
- Streets of Baltimore, Baltimore, MD (August 31, 2012 – September 2, 2012)
- Auto Club Speedway, Fontana, CA (September 13, 2012 – September 15, 2012)
Prize includes:
- round-trip coach air transportation for winner and guest from the major commercial airport nearest winner's residence to the nearest major commercial airport to the race site selected by winner,
- two (2) nights' standard hotel accommodations (single room; double occupancy),
- two (2) team credentials to the race,
- a meet and greet with the TrueCar racing team (subject to availability), and
- an assortment of TrueCar Racing team gear.
Approximate retail value ("ARV"): $3,000. If winner resides within a 100-mile radius of trip destination, Sponsor reserves the right to provide ground transportation in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or substitution will be provided for difference in prize value. Winner and his/her guest must be available to travel on the dates listed above for the race location selected by winner or prize will be forfeited in its entirety and Sponsor will have no further obligation to such winner. Winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary and are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents prior to travel. Flight schedules are subject to change without notice. Released Parties (defined below) are not liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation/delay. Suite passes are subject to certain terms and conditions specified thereon. Winner and guest agree to comply with all race venue rules and regulations. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of such portion of prize. Guest must be of legal age of majority in his/her jurisdiction of residence (and at least 18). If winner is eligible, but a minor in his/her state of residence, the travel guest must be winner's parent or legal guardian. Minor must be accompanied at all times during trip (including, but not limited to, in-flight, hotel stay and all prize-related events) by minor's parent or legal guardian. Once travel guest is selected, he/she may not be substituted, except in Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. Airline tickets are non-refundable/non-transferable and are not valid for upgrades and/or frequent flyer miles.
Potential Grand Prize winner will be initially notified by phone at the phone number provided at time of entry on or about May 18, 2012. If a potential Grand Prize winner is not available at the initial call, then over the next twenty-four (24) hour period following the drawing, Administrator will make up to six (6) attempts to reach the potential Grand Prize winner via telephone at the phone numbers provided on the entry form. If the potential Grand Prize winner cannot be reached in person during such twenty-four (24) hour period (no messages will be left on answering machines or voice mail systems) such potential Grand Prize winner will be disqualified and an alternate Grand Prize winner may be selected at random from among all of the remaining eligible entries.
Total ARV of all prizes: $5,000.00. Limit one (1) First Prize per person/household.
