The judges will score entries based on the following criteria: _Originality (60%) and Empowerment (40%). The entry with highest overall score will be declared the potential winner (in the event of a tie, the entry with the higher score in the Originality criteria will prevail).
PRIZE DESCRIPTION. There will be one (1) winner. The prize is a scholarship to Fashion University, along with travel and accommodations for the weekend of October 20-22, 2012 in New York City plus one (1) coach airfare ticket from the major commercial airport nearest winner's primary residence in the US to New York City and one (1) standard hotel room (double occupancy) for two (2) nights at a hotel selected by Sponsor. The approximate retail value of the prize is $2,000,
