Good for you for investing in one, they are great (where were they when I was a young mommy?). You do have a talent there btw with photography, of course the right subject is important! Yeah, afraid I' I'm hooked on sweeps, win or lose.....beats working...

I had a great one when my kids where babies..swivel/rocker/glider.. Jim bought it for me right after my son was born.. but like a dumbass.. I gave it away.. never lookin into the future.. but this one is just fine for me and the babes..

......I know! I've given away so many things I wish I had saved...but everything happens for a reason and hopefully somebody else made some great memories with them! I started with a bentwood rocker, very chic, but it "walked" across the room and just about the time the baby fell asleep I would have to scoot it back. Then inherited my mom's old lazyboy, wondeful,but it had a bucket seat which was hard to get out of, espcially with a sleeping baby in arms. Insisted my daughter get a rocker/glider for her babies but I don't think she ever used it much. Astonishing! Who doesn't love to rock?

I hear ya.. I rocked through fevers, colds and more monsters than I can remember.. would not have changed it for the world..

.....same here, and oh so many lullabies, hymns and songs were sung! My youngest would still asked to be rocked and sung to when she was over 5 years....we laugh about it now but one of their favorites was "I never promised you a rose garden"....
