Are you getting a free magazine that you don't really want or it was not what you expected? Post your magazine on this thread for others who might be interested in it.

Here are some rules:

1) When the magazine has been spoken for, please update your original post to signify that. Such as:

Ladies Home Journal
Islands
The Week ... Gone

2) Everyone please try to keep posts to this thread to magazines you want to donate/trade. Not, I'll take Islands and The Week. These messages will be deleted!

3) To request the magazine being offered, Send a PM (Private Message) to the poster buy clicking on the posters User Name and selecting "Send a private message to ...". This allows the poster to see by date/time stamp who requested it first and keeps this thread to a minimum. Plus it also keeps this transaction among the poster and requester private.

4) Any personal information posted to this thread (Names, Address, etc.) will be deleted. All communication MUST be done via private messages.

5) For posters, you may want to check out the thread Checking your subscription online. Most magazines can be switched with the new name/address online.

6) You must have a magazine to give or trade to participate in this thread. You can not troll for a freebie.

Child Magazine until Nov 07 (just got the Dec issue, so I guess there's probably like 10 issues left)

Bridal Guide until S/O 2008 (Summer/October? not sure what that stands for).

I want girly magazines, fitness magazines, music magazines, um, pretty much ANYTHING. I don't have children and I don't plan on being married any time soon, haha.

Have Newsweek, would like pretty much any of the "ladies' mags" or decorating/gardening/home improvement mags (BHG, Living, Everyday, LHJ, etc.).

So I'm curious how does this work? How does the actual trade take place? Why do people bother to trade when often times they can just sign up for a new freebie subscription themselves?

Not sure. Maybe someone doesn't know it's available free frequently? And then also some freebies aren't available all the time, so someone might like to take advantage of getting one until another freebie opportunity for the magazine becomes available.

...have a subscription to Outdoor Life that is good through November 2012. Would love something like Woman's Day, Family Circle, People, Star .... in trade, but willing to just gift it to someone who would enjoy it.
